  1. Camp is the odd man out in my book, Waller is physically too imposing for him not to make the team. SSS, Perriman, Aiken, Brown, Butler, and Waller. Camp can't stay healthy and his role in the offense would be putting him in the slot where alot of his contact is going to come from Lbers. he's not going to last long, thats what his history tells us. i'd prefer using SSS in the slot, him and Camp are similar in size but SSS is not fragile like Camp, or putting Butler or Aiken in the slot both are 6-2 220 so they could take the pounding better. I don't see why everyone is making such a big deal out of this Camp guy, we haven't seen enough of him to warrant all of this praise.
  2. If there is one player that i personally would not mine losing, Elam would be that one. We have players that are better than him but were not picked in the 1st round so they are not given as many chances as Elam. now we have more reps to go around for some of the guys "behind" him, so some of these guys can show what they have. Levine is better than Elam and the rookie from Alabama Nick Perry may have a shot now. If Perry can tackle he's already better than Elam.
  3. i'll take Waller over Camp any day, and it might come down to that. Camp is injury prone and Waller looks the part of a stud.
  4. I always thought Juices ability to move around was one of the main reasons we drafted him. I was disappointed last year when Kubiak didn't use him in that fashion.
  5. With Urban and Canty coming in at 6-7 and Davis 6-5 i'm looking forward to seeing if those guys can bat down some passes, when Urban, Canty, and Davis get on the field together we can call the "the wall" d-line
  6. Romo's O-line didn't get great until last year when they drafted Martin, Dez is a stud but Murray didn't become Murray until last year because he couldn't stay healthy , Dez is the only piece that Romo has that Joe has not had. But on the flip side Flacco has had better defenses to work with. I like Joe but using the eye test Romo looks to have better control of his offense. Perriman looks like he's a stud so hopefully Joe has that piece now. If you want to say Joe is better than Romo, because they are so close , i could understand but Romo's creativity when nothing is there is what separates them to me.
  7. i think if you look at Romo's track record compared to Joe then Joe is the better QB, but as of today, i think that Romo has really improved recently and i'd put him slightly ahead of Joe
  8. I have not looked at this list you guys are referring to but In know particular order these are the Qb's that I think are ahead of Joe , Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rothlisberger,Wilson, Romo, Rivers. And i see you guys are starting early with the excuses as to why Flacco's numbers aren't better. Joe is a 2nd tier QB and there is nothing wrong with that, Just as long as the Ravens win the Superbowl this year i could care less where Joe is ranked on some QB list. Now if they had put Joe in a 3rd tier or 4th tier and grouped him along with QB's that clearly his inferior than it would be cause to complain but from what i'm seeing that wasn't the case.
  9. whats disturbing to me about the kid is he can't tackle, i can give a safety a couple of years to learn the game at the NFL level, they say safety is one of the hardest positions to transition into the nfl, but there are too many times that he is there to make the tackle and simple can't get the guy down, missing Amendola in the playoffs is still in my head, and Amendola is not the biggest of players. When he gets to the ball he needs to bring some fire along with him.
  10. One mans garbage is another mans treasure, i think thats how it goes. Although TT is gone now, i thought that while he was here we should have used him more, Not as a starter , not even for a quarter, but a series here, a couple of plays there. He has arm talent and he's almost Mike Vick fast, if a player has made the team you use him for the talents that he has even if he is a decoy.
  11. I'd rather a guy have a great ota/mini camp than have a bad one, he can only do what he is allowed to do at this point. We'll find out about this guy when they put the pads on. 6-2 218 and wants to play the slot, if his hands are as good as the reports are making them out to be i'd rather have this guy than Campanaro who can't stay available.
  12. Campanaro might not make this team if he continues to be fragile, all reports indicate we have a good looking group of WR's , like they say "the best ability is availability"
  13. I can't believe you people think this punishment was harsh, They cheated and won the superbowl HELLO, you take there trophy from them, Brady will get 2 games , this is light. You hit there salary cap, take there trophy and take draft picks then that would be harsh but also appropriate.
  14. there are focusing too much on this one game , the AFCCG, common sense tells me that this is not the first time they deflated the balls. Why would you try something like this for the first time in the AFCCG, how long have they been doing this? the NFL has to yet make another rule because these guys can't keep there hands out of the cookie jar, Lance Armstrong ass cheaters
  15. he's also good in pass protection, a complete back. GREAT PICK!
  16. Nice! thats exactly who he looked like, a bigger, stronger, tougher and even faster Torrey Smith.
  17. i'm with Craven, mother@#$% the Pats, they couldn't play with us so they resorted to a loophole in some obscure rule to deceive. If everyone played that type of football the game we all love would cease to exist. The rule had to me changed because the pats started playing like a bunch of pussies. they changed the spirit of the game when thet started using that tactic and it still "chaps my ass" as Billick would say.
  18. So why can't he make it onto the field, i know he was having problems with the mental part of the game, but after 2 years going on 3 years he should be up to speed ,and if he isn't he is just too stupid to play at this level. Coming out , he looked pretty good in coverage , which is important in this NFL and he's an athletic IBer so whats the deal
  19. just a thought, trade Arthur Brown for Vernon Davis, Niners need some interior linebacker help and we need a TE. maybe throw in a 4th or 5th
  20. what is Arthur Brown's problem? never understood why he can't make it onto the field.
  21. Dwayne Bowe would be my choice. D-Bowe
  22. i don't fault him either, i'm strictly a fan right now that is seeing all this movement around the league and the only movement coming out of Baltimore are players leaving with no hope of doing anything because our cap situation is jacked up, i had high hopes for us after last year and this is not the way i saw us starting the next NFL year. Our young guys are going to have to step up big time if we can't make some cap space.
  23. he didn't give up any money but he did what was asked to help out the team. In my opinion Ngata benefitted from the Skins grossly overpaying Haynesworth and now he trying to do the same with what Suh is about to sign for. meanwhile he's been hurt during a large chunk of the deal he is on now or just not playing up to the level of the contract or both. Ngata is being an oppurtunist (sp) and thats the country we live in but simply as a fan the guy could meet us halfway just on the strength of he didn't play up to the contract he is under now.
  24. Suggz is a RAVEN through and through, mother@%&* Ngata! i'm caught up in my feelings right now.
  25. we need a veteran and a draftee. Smith, Webb and Asa seem to have injury problems. we need to get two CB's in here. A solid veteran like Cary, just in case one or two of these guys goes down again and a young corner, preferably a high draftee, to have for the now and the future.
