  1. sometimes you're going to play in and win shootouts, we have a makeshift secondary, filled with undrafted free agents , safeties playing corner, a first rounder thats a complete bust , our best corner has two bad knees and all of them put together probably don't make half of what Flacco makes. my point: just because we scored 33 points doesn't mean the offense did it's job, everyone knows our secondary stinks so we'll need to get pressure on the QB , if that doesn't happen, we'll probably be in more shootouts, and the onus is on Joe if we're going to win shootouts. You don't get the payday that Joe got, and then blame a bunch of scabs who aren't making any money for the loss. Joe is the big money guy, Joe is the QB and just because we scored 33 points doesn't get Joe off the hook. I told you all when Joe signed that contract, anytime we lose it's going to be Joe's fault, if Joe doesn't want the blame then he'll have to give about half the money back.

  2. If Joe takes a big enough pay cut , there is no need to get another QB, we have won a superbowl with the guy and went to the post season with him 5 straight years, we are just not going to win another one with the money he makes now because he is not worth it. but if he doesn't take a pay cut, you draft a qb, we have pieces already , with the money you save on Joe you get more pieces. Just because Boller didn't work out , you don't let the thought of him hinder you from pulling the trigger on another qb, just do the proper scouting this time. Joe and Wilson won while still on there first contract, thats how you're going to have to win superbowls unless to have an elite qb, with a young qb and a great surrounding cast, you might have to go through some growing pains but there's a better chance winning that way as opposed to riding with an overpaid robotic Joe, who doesn't have enough around him to win again because he makes too much money

  3. LOL, once again you people haven't a clue as to what i'm talking about, you just are so quick to defend the robot. You buy time running to either side, i never said anything about rolling out and passing on the run. I've seen plenty of right handed QB's run to the left set there feet and complete passes, but our Robot only knows how to run to the right because he is a robot. All of you would do exactly what Joe does, which is when the pocket breaks down or you need to buy time (run to the right) , i see why you are defenders of Joe now because you think just as he does , like a robot. pressure comes, roll to the right, regardless of where your receivers are, regardless of where the pressure is coming, regardless of where there's open space ,just roll to the right because i'm right handed, no feel as i said, just being a dumb robot. like "Playing Quarterback in the NFL for Dummies"

  4. Flacco is a robotic QB with no feel for the game, if everything on the play is perfect: the protection, the route running, the defense against, then Joe has the arm talent to complete the pass, but let something not be right and the robot runs to right every time and rarely makes a play out of nothing. I've seen this guy throw incomplete passes and Int's when he could have very easily run for a first down. No feel.

  5. You f'ing right it is. Rodgers was still riding the pine in GB at the same point in their careers. That's probably Joe's fault as well.

    That is fucking hysterical

What's hysterical is that you two can't even comprehend what i'm comparing? at this point in there careers means (right now) , eventually i see Wilson being more accomplished and overtaking Rodgers, do you two nimrods comprender now? and what does comparing Wilson and Rodgers have to do with Joe?

  6. If you watch Russell Wilson play and compare that to how Joe Flacco plays and you tell me that Joe is the better Qb than you are a joke as a football player evaluator. Wilson's pocket awareness is far superior, his mobility is far superior, his decision making is far superior, he is just a smarter QB and it's not even close. I'm with Papa, i'd pay Wilson and Joe needs a pay cut.

  7. Like it or not, Joe Flacco is the lightening rod for this team. Kubiak just said this morning that he's going to have to dumb down his playbook for Joe Flacco during the bye week. That's not the kind of thing you want to hear about a 120 million dollar QB. That's not from me, that's from the OC about a QB with 7 years under his belt. That's something you'd say about a rookie. And that's not a good thing. So if you want to sweep questions about Joe Flacco under the rug, forget about it, T'aint happenin'.

these people championed Joe getting his money, but don't want to hold him accountable to earning it. he's QB, he's the big money guy, he got ALL of the credit when we won the SB, when we win playoff games, but when we lose, it's on everyone else.

  8. He hasn't learned anything in 6 1\2 years? And you're not trying to bash him? 5 straight playoff appearances, 3 afccg, 1 sb victory, and a MVP of that super bowl,8 straight years the super winner fails to win a playoff game the next year, I hope folks are ripping Russell Wilson the way Joe gets ripped.

This year isn't over I fully expect us to be back in the playoffs, but manning,Brady,Bree's and the green bay qb, would get crushed with this o line this year and last year. I'm totally shocked we are still in the playoff hunt this year.

when Joe (and the ravens) accomplished all of these feats, Joe was making about what he should be making as a starting QB. Joe (and the ravens ) would have never accomplished those things if Joe was under the contract he's under now. Joe takes up too much money and is not good enough to do what he did his first 5 years in the league. and IF he is good enough we are about to find out, because you want to give Joe all of the credit for the the Ravens success , well right now it is all about Joe. he got his money, now it's time to earn it. If Joe gets us to the playoffs i'll never say anything about Joe ever again. but if he doesn't it just proves he's not worth the money he's being paid.

  9. Joe Flacco can't win for losing. He wins a Super Bowl, people don't like him because he gets a big contract. He loses several receivers and has a makeshift OL, goes through a couple OCs, has a few bad games, and everyone lights into him. I don't think the guy is ever going to get his due, no matter what he does on the field.

But I"lł pose this - imagine Joe going down with a season ending surgery and Tyrod leading the team the rest of the way. How bad is he looking then ?

I've always said Joe is Joe. He's a good to sometimes very good QB. Not great just good. He's not Brady, Manning, Rodgers. He's just Joe.

Comparing Joe to a backup Qb that has started one game his entire career, laughable. Thats what we're doing now.

  10. You want to elevate Joe then protect his fucking ass, he's getting slaughtered back there, he has no time, they showed the stat on Sunday nights debackle Joe was getting 2.3 seconds before he was getting pressured, he needs more then that, o line has really faltered here of late.

Joe does need to be protected better, i give you that, but Joe never takes off running, he's a better athlete than even what he thinks, there are times when he can run for a first down or get positive yards and he doesn't do it. Joe is not the only Qb who is under pressure, but it looks like Joe hasn't learned anything in 6 plus years about buying time , manipulating the pocket and having overall pocket awareness. i'm not trying to bash Joe, but this is why he's getting the big bucks now go and put up some points.

  11. I have no confidence in Joe and the offense to make up for our losses in the secondary, this is when you're 120 million dollar QB is suppose to earn his money, instead we will just go quietly and fade into Bolivia lol (mike tyson reference). i kind of hope we just tank it from this point forward, no sense in winning the TENN. game and maybe another one or two just to finish in the middle of the pack as far as drafting. might as well lose them all and get the best draft position possible. I really wish Joe was worth the money we are paying him, because if he was then our season wouldn't be lost.

  12. Joe on the road this season has 7 TD's and 5 Int's. Take out the TB game and it is 3 TD's and 5 Int's. On the road Joe has been pretty mediocre.

Right now Joe is looking extra mediocre, the line is not helping him, but his pocket awareness should be alot better than what i'm seeing, this is his 7th year and he still gets flustered when bodies are around him, he's definitely not "Cool Joe" at the moment
