  2. Mangini is man in charge, but he's not making friends New Head Coach Eric Mangini is running the place like Napoleon. http://www.cantonrep.com/sports/x110296802...-making-friends
  3. I think it would be great to get a young guy to grow with Joe, what about the guys on the IR? Justin Harper with some Maturing could become a good guy to have on the field. What about DWill? Would also like see Marcus Smith get more time.
  4. Thanks TC. Just looking over some CB that should be free to sign.
  5. Know anything about this guy?
  6. -- Eric Mangini Alienating Players -- Tue Feb 3, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com The Canton Repository reports new Browns HC Eric Mangini is alienating players already. At a recent public function that Mangini and Pro Bowl DT Shaun Rogers attended, Rogers said he had yet to meet Mangini but hoped to that night. A few minutes later, Mangini walked past Rogers, who's hard to miss at 360 pounds, without introducing himself.
  7. The Cats will be that team.
  8. Ray is going to sign a cheap deal with the Pats and win 2 rings in a row.

  10. I don't see it as a big deal but I don't look at athlete that way. I know it isn't the same but after Mrs. Jones hurt me that took the last I had left for these so called athlete. I am close to giving up on football too.
  11. TAMPA, Fla. (AP)—The Tennessee Titans and Buffalo will play in the 2009 Hall of Fame game, a day after Bills owner Ralph Wilson and former star Bruce Smith are inducted. The exhibition in Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 9 will begin the NFL’s celebration marking the 50th year of its AFL teams. The Bills and Titans, who started out as the Houston Oilers, will wear their original uniforms. The 90-year-old Wilson was elected to the Hall on Saturday. Induction ceremonies will be held at the shine on Aug. 8, with Wilson among six new members. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvWn_yGaA-Y
  12. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...9012904496.html For the second time, the Senate unanimously passed a bill Thursday night to delay the transition to digital television by four months in order to give consumers more time to get ready. The Senate first passed a bill Monday to postpone the switch from Feb. 17 to June 12. But on Wednesday, House Republicans blocked the bill from getting the two-thirds majority needed to pass under the rules applied to the legislation, even though the majority of lawmakers voted in favor of the delay. By passing the bill that failed in the House, the Senate is giving the House another chance to vote on the measure under regular rules that would allow it to pass with a simple majority vote. The House could vote on the bill as early as Tuesday.
  13. I don't see that. I see this past season some-what of a Miracle.
  14. That is a shame. Hue should have gotten that job.
  15. JU is legend, so is Ray. A statue next to JU would be great, like the numbers over at O's park, you know, when the O's had real teams. But what about JO? Ray will do what he thinks is best for Ray.
  16. douche? douche? mmmmmmmmmm Troy Smith ever post here?
  17. Fitzgerald says he’d pitch in to keep Boldin http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AhTS...p&type=lgns TAMPA, Fla. (AP)—Larry Fitzgerald would look at restructuring his contract if it would help keep fellow Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin on the team. “Someone asked me a question if I would be willing to do something to help the team, and I said, `No problem,’ ” Fitzgerald said Wednesday. “This opportunity right here to be playing deep in the postseason, this is an amazing feeling. I’ll do whatever it takes to get back to this point going forward in my career.”
  18. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,7216134.column Trade for Boldin? Anquan Boldin is unhappy with his contract and has some issues with how the Cardinals are using him. He is a second fiddle in the desert, but would be playing lead guitar in most bands. But that doesn't mean your favorite receiver- depleted team soon will be acquiring him in a trade. Boldin has two more years left on his contract, and the Cardinals have no intention of trading him or even testing the market for him. "We've often talked about building this team under a core philosophy," Cardinals general manager Rod Graves said. "How could you have a core and not include Anquan Boldin?" Graves wouldn't go so far as to say the Cardinals would not listen to trade offers for Boldin or any player. But to give up Boldin, a suitor would have to come calling with "a very rich proposition."
  19. So your saying Rex didn't do a good job?
  20. I hope Boller stays around, he should cheap. One of the best back-ups in the game. I did hear that Boller sold his house here, not sure if that is true.
  21. I didn't see a black guy! Not bad, a few were funny.
  22. I knew god would be here sooner then later! The Jags are close to $16 mil. under the cap and they too have a center they would like to re-sign, Brad Meester. I am sure they would like to keep Khalif Barnes around also. Then there is LB Mike Peterson, what are they going to do with him? I am sure they also have RFA they will sign so their cap number gets even smaller. Miami is looking good, $28mil under but they have more then a few FA they would like to sign and I am sure they have a few RFAs. The Phins will go after Peppers in a big way. They also used a 2nd round pick last year on a center, Samson Satele.
  23. I hear that Ray Lewis doesn't like the new DC and is going to sign a real cheap deal with the Jets.
