Well what a crap weekend of sport that was. None of the teams I follow in any sport won a game. That makes for a very depressing week. On a brighter note I got to meet Dee and her Mom so it wasn't a complete waste of a weekend.

At least you got a trip to London to show for your defeat. The Ravens went to lovely Buffalo.

It's bad I agree and they seem to always have road works somewhere along the I4 and if not then there is an accident. It probably doesn't help that people are commuting home around about the time of the thunder and lightning storms which just makes things x10 worse. Thankfully I'm normally only on it for a small stretch of the I4 as there are a couple other routes we take going south. But if you can afford it the 417 and Florida Turnpike are great to travel on.

What did Trawick get the personal foul for? The announcers mentioned they had looked over the replays and couldn't see what the flag was for. They thought it might have been the wrong number called.

Joe really impressed me a lot in this game. I thought he stood tall as the pocket was collapsing and delivered some really nice passes.

Yeah we won the first challenge but you have to win both challenges to get a 3rd challenge. If he lost the Welker challenge he would have been out of challenges for the remainder of the game and there could have been something later in the game that was worse than the Welker one. That said, he finished the game with a challenge remaining so I'm a believer in use them while you have them because you can't take them to the next game and hindsight is always 20/20.

lol @ Manning being too much for the Ravens. In the playoffs he was 28 for 43 for 290 yards. 6.7 YPA with 3 TDs and 2 INTs. A QBR of 58.1 All we have done since that game is upgrade the D. We are younger, faster and stronger. IMO the Ravens D will be too much for Manning's noodle arm and neck. If it wasn't for the 2 special teams TDs Manning gets blown out by the Ravens in the playoffs. Did I mention that Webby is back. He likes catching the ball. I hope we crush them now.

With the offseason the Donkeys have had I think we are favorites. I think it will be close but we win 24-21.

Let the UN decide if they want to do anything. The UK government voted against taking any action. It sucks and all what is happening but at the end of the day are we sure we would be backing the right people? Anoter example to remember is the US used to be in bed with Bin Laden. Jimmy suffers from not playing the ball. On a number of the receptions he gives up he has great coverage but fails to look back for the ball when the receiver does. On another reception for a TD he gave up I think he was expecting safety help inside (from the alingment of the safety it sure looked that way as well) but when Jones cut inside the safety had disappeared which allowed an easy reception in the middle of the endzone. The stats make it look worse than it actually is. When the secondary gets on the same page they should be good. And if Jimmy can learn from Webby how to locate the ball in the air he will be just fine.

This really doesn't surprise me either. The Biscuit made his money in putting the right personnel in the right positions to succeed. It was only natural that he would continue that form when he bought the Ravens. It makes me proud to always see our front office personnel and coaching staff being linked with jobs around the league every offseason as, along with only a handful of teams, we are seen as the benchmark in so many areas.
