  1. I will admit it was a hell of a run by Flacco.
  2. that's after 3 restructures and the final years of his deal. His actual number is around 14 without the restructuring and he has 2 rings and another appearance so even if he was at 18 it would be worth it.
  3. But in all seriousness a lot of your guys are 29+ years old. I don't think 30 is old anymore in the NFL for most positions but some do.
  4. Old and slow....... Sorry had to
  5. I think this is a good signing. He has played for kubiak his entire career and can help the offense make the transition to what kubs wants
  6. tell me about a team that shall remain nameless had 3 7ths that year.
  7. Yeah but you gotta look at the contract if he sucks in camp they can cut him and lose nothing from it.
  8. really it's no risk he got the vet min with zero guaranteed. I like it but I still think the steelers go wr or Ebron in the first. How awesome would the combo of AB, Evans, Wheaton, Moore, and DHB be with heath at TE. Or AB, Wheaton, Moore, DHB, and moye with Ebron and Heath at the TEs. Yeah they would never all be on the field at the same time but it give haley/Ben a lot of different options.
  9. and at the league minimum with zero guaranteed this is a zero risk huge reward signing. If he is on the field you have to account for him and his 4.23 speed. If he is used as nothing more then a decoy to open up the underneath for Brown, Moore, and Miller then he has value. Like I said they can cut him and lose nothing from it. The same could be said about all there signings. They aren't giving out guaranteed money anymore. They have learned their lesson. A player must now earn his money. Who knows maybe it finally clicks for him and then this looks like a great deal and if not nothing is lost.
  10. The steelers have signed Heyward-Bay to a one year deal. Considering they only had like 350k to work with this must be another extremely friendly team deal. I like they signed a bunch of guys with low end guaranteed money. I don't know if they will go WR in the first now but they still could. Right now they have AB, Wheaton, Moore, DHB, Moye, and Justin Brown. That's isn't a bad group of WR and now they have a guy that can blow the top of the defense even though he has trouble hanging on to the ball.
  11. yeah those are two big signings they need to get done. They have both turned into really good NFL players.
  12. yeah that is what I was thinking as well. RBs can be found in the later rounds.

  14. lmao I was really just looking for something to bitch about. I was still in trolling mode then.
  15. yeah I'm pretty happy about it.
  16. bellicheat wanted him back just didn't want to give him a two year deal.
  17. I think the only time a contract could effect coach is when he is in his final year and there have been no talks of an extension. Like Spen said coaches want to win no matter what the circumstances. Even if he knows it's his final year unless he is retiring he still needs a good resume.
  18. Hell I've gone bat shit crazy here a few times and you never threatened to ban me. I think this is a very well run board.
  19. I will agree with you there. When I first read it I was like wait what ray Rice?
  20. don't get me wrong I'm all for the legal system and waiting to see how it all turns out. From what we know we can say right now it doesn't look good for rice.
  21. if she had done any of that the state wouldn't have dropped the charges on her.
  22. oh yeah I mean damn every post on the steelers section is like this one. So I guess tornado is calling everyone a troll.
