  1. I actually could see that with how "connected" new jersey used to be and still is to a point.
  2. That is very true but I think the trib stated it also. I stick to the trib. Tomlin does always finish near the top of the list if coaches players want to play for though.
  3. I don't know man he has touched the ball a lot in his career. He was the Rutgers offense also. I'm not going to say he is done but I will say the tread is looking very thin.
  4. reports say it came down to him wanting to play for Tomlin.
  5. yeah for sure I like that it's a 2 year deal as well. Hopefully LSH is ready for the regular season and they bring him back. That would be a pretty diverse backfield
  6. Hey maybe they draft Benjamin.
  7. 2 year deal. The killer Bs Ben, Brown, Bell, and Blount.
  8. once again one started with A TEAM FULL OF NFL PLAYERS! one started with nothing and in their first 15 years lost a bunch of players to the war and basically had to start over.
  9. OK and a guy with 1000 at bats is most likely going to have a worse batting average then a guy with a 100 at bats.
  10. um one team started from scratch the other was stolen from another city and if I remember correctly the Browns were in the playoffs the season before they moved.
  11. I've been called worse by better. Your opinion of me is way way down my list of shit I care about.
  12. oh yeah when the steelers started 0-4 it doomed them. I feel like if we had Miller and Bell to start the season the steelers would have been in the playoffs. Both teams have done some major changes. I think both teams could be good or they we all could be in for another long season. The way the steelers finished has me optimistic. It's a lot like the 06 season for the steelers. They were absolutely atrocious to start the season but finished strong and carried it over to the next season.
  13. I wouldn't even say that he had 1 100 yard game. He was a decent short yardage back.
  14. lmao yeah that's true. Just some good off season killing discussions.
  15. I disagree Redman never really amounted to much.
  16. neither of them missed a snap last year and troy made a bunch of Troy like plays. Also troy played out of position a lot last year and with the emergence of Garvin in the pass defense game he won't have to this year. Ben had the best stats of his career last year and didn't get banged up at all. As long as the line continues to improve and keeps up with the pace of 11 sacks in the last 8 games Ben will be fine. Right now it looks like the Ravens might have a second year player and a rookie playing the safety positions and in a pass happy league that spells doom.
  17. um who? Troy is on the edge but that's about it. Taylor is going to be the 3rd corner this year and those are the only 30 year Olds on the defense. Most are under 26. Suggs, Dumervil, Ngata, and Smith are all in their 30s. On offense the steelers have Ben who is 31, heath, and Lance Moore other then that they are very young. The old and slow is a thing of the past.
  18. Oh yeah there is still a lot that is to be done before making g any predictions but the Ravens are starting to get long in the tooth on defense as well.
  19. flacco is a proven winner when he has an effective ray rice. The first bad year rice has and how do the Ravens finish? That has always been the case to beat the Ravens make flacco beat you.
  20. lmao I was thinking the same thing
