  1. Bahahahahahahaha I hope this happens to go with your 35 year old WR. It will be fun watching Brown and Wheaton go flying by him. The Steelers didn't even offer him a contract and this is no where near the Woodson deal. Come on Oz sign him!
  2. I look at as when cotchery first came. This gives him a chance to be a number 2 guy with all the unknowns at the WR position. I think it will be a team friendly deal and he could be anywhere from 2nd to 4th on the depth chart which is what happened to cotch at first.
  3. This is another move I wouldn't mind. Brown, Evans, and Moore would be a great group of WRs and young at that.
  4. what? Lambert revolutionized the lber position. Without him the defense didn't work.
  5. what you have a 35 year old WR paging you. He is older then anyone on the steelers. Also from the projected starters the steelers defense has an average age of 27.6. The offense is even younger then that. So the Ravens got better by getting a WR that is a shell of his former self? Mitchell is an upgrade over Clark, Thomas and AL woods are probably about the same Thomas might be better, and starks is a hell of a lot better then Dwyer so what the hell are you talking about?
  6. I'm not to worried about it. It seemed like one of those freak injuries. He was never hurt in college
  7. I would take that Bell and him would make for a pretty good combo
  8. It is really hard for me as I remember some of the guys from 70s and I've heard the story seen the videos but I was pretty young when they were retiring. I will tell you the steelers just brought back one of mine in porter.
  9. If you don't like Rocky you're not American
  10. Yeah until he runs into his former teammate and he wakes up two weeks later.
  11. He was absolutely a great player and guy.
  12. yeah they are I think k he is just replacing al woods who signed with the titans.
  13. This move gets an eh from me. When he was starting the chargers were giving up 4.6 yards a carry up the middle while Big Mac only surrendered 2.4 good for second best in the league. I don't think beats out McClendon unless they are moving Big Mac to DE.
  14. Did yinz sign his walker as well or does he get a Hoover round in the deal?
  15. A lot of time the WR makes the QB but with those two they make the WR. I think you could pick up a guy off the street and he would get 1,000 yards and 10 plus tds.
  16. I personally would stay away from any WR that had Brady or Manning throwing the ball to them.
  17. lmao maybe two years ago
  18. Woodson also wasn't 35
  19. his biological father who gave him up for adoption?
  20. Mitchell's contract details- $25 million, with $5.25 Mil guaranteed and a $4.75 Mil roster bonus. 1st year salary $750,000, '15 $2 Mil, '16 $5 Mil, '17 $5 Mil, '18 $5 Mil. He gets $6 Mil this year, and a $2 Mil roster bonus due the 5th day of '15 league year. Also, he has $400 K performance incentives for making the pro bowl. Extremely team friendly deal. He is only going to count for 2.2 million dollars this year and his guaranteed will be paid off by after next year meaning we can cut him with no dead money. This still leaves plenty in the pot.
  21. I hope not but its still a pretty big signing for them
  22. that's a great price for a 26 year old safety who has 6 years experience. We're talking about a sub 4.4 FS here who loves contact and had a break out year last year.
  23. Huge signing he was solid for the Panthers last year.
  24. lol he got 1 year 2.75 million huge cut from the 7 million before.
  25. Kevin Greene was a pretty good one. Colbert said they were going to be very active this year. They need a piece that can contribute right away.
