no it won't implode but there are a lot of angry fans out there right now about the direction of this team. If we can't run the ball and don't have the oline to do so then let's play to our strengths and kinda go college spread style and put Ben in shotgun with 4 wide and throw it 50 times a game. I'm all fir the running attack but if it's not working then why bang your head against a wall. Who knows maybe when you start doing that the run game will open up. Like I said I had high hopes for Haley but so far it is looking like a giant mistake.

Hopefully Haley figures it out but I think he is on extremely thin ice and unless something drastic changes may be out before the season is over. The Steelers wanted Kirby to take over but he wasn't ready because of the fire so their guy is just sitting there. It would be awesome if he took some from BA and some from Haley and I think that would be the perfect offense for the Steelers. Haley was brought in to fix the run and it's worse.

While I'm not excited about this team it was one game and the Steelers have historically played down to their competition. There are some bright spots. Troy looks like troy again big mac was eating two blockers and still getting pressure and tackles and Jones looks to be the real deal. The oline is their biggest weakness and their biggest weakness when it comes to the draft. That is what worries me the most since colbert took over he has hit on a number of positions but really has only hit on one lineman so far in Pouncey. Decastro shows some promise but I think Pouncey needs to be moved to guard next year. I have some hope of them turning it around but it is small. Monday will be a telling game but still no miller or bell so that sucks.

Yeah I agree BA played to the Steelers strengths. Case in point when Ben was suspended the Steelers pounded the rock 30+ times a game.

Haley at this point seems a little predictable. The play action long ball to open the game was a shock but after that you could see what was coming.

Not at all and this is the last thing I'm going to say Holmes, Wallace, Brown, Sanders, and Wheaton to only one bust in Sweed. That's a great track record. The Steelers have a guy on their practice squad that would fit perfectly. Justin Brown he almostade the team but Moye was a much better blocker. He was OU kick returner and showed he has some hands and you know nobody is better then the Steelers when it comes to evaluating wrs.
