I have pet my peeps know that a few cool raven fans may be stopping by and you are all welcome. I can't speak for all of them but most will welcome yinz I'm sure there will be some not happy about it but you can't please everybody. Terrible Towel Flying is the admin and he keeps the place clean and is a stickler for topics going where they beoong(Dee) lol

I liked arains and I'm ver happy for him. That said part of the reason why he got the cards job was his ties to the Steelers. Pittsburgh west as we call it. I do think he is a great coach but after 7 years as our oc he was getting predictable. Also I believe the rooneys felt disrespected by him when they said run the ball more and he didn't.

Better Quarterback: Flacco or Roethlisberger

Misread what you said my bad I don't think he does I can remember a few instances though we're he did lead a wr into trouble but that happens. -
I believe November 17th. Like I said what Clark said is completely true but why say it.

If the oline stays healthy this year we will have a great one. Adams showed last year he is a run blocking beast. Decastro got better each of the three games he played while not at 100%. The only question I have is can Gilbert play LT. Also we git a new oline coach and are switching to zone blocking. I really like our line this year. -
Thesteelersfans.com there's about 100 regulars on everyday
-
June 1st they will be roughly 7 million under the cap. It's going to take about 1.6 million to sign all of our rookies signed leaving them a little over 5 million to spend.

Here is a major thing yinz are forgetting the Steelers have zero threat of run to help Ben hopefully leveon bell changes that so defenses can't just sit back and wait. -
He's a decent blocker very smart and a hard worker. His major issue is his short arms which allow the defenders to get in close
-
Clark called out Brady and while he was right you still don't challenge Brady. If anybody didn't see it he said Brady sees ghosts on the field. He said that if you go into attack mode Brady will pick you apart but if you go man and mess upvtue timing Brady starts flinching thinking somebody is coking.

I really enjoy talking with most of you and have done a pretty good job on being on my best behavior. I like the ribbing of each other's teams but how about we leave the cities and personal attcks out of it. Spen I know I don't write well and misspelled stuff all the time but I really don't like getting made fun of it for it. A lot of it comes from the 5 concussions I was hospitalized for over my life so that really gets under my skin. I have even told the admin at my Steelers board to invite yinz to that board for banter and keep the homerism down some.

Yeah he is a very good wr but he is one hit away from retirement.

Ravens still looking for Boldin’s replacement
thesteelhurtin replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
I didn't think losing the wr captain in ward was going to hurt as bad as it did. Brown is stepping into that role now. Do yinz think smith has what it takes to pull the wr together when they aren't doing well. I know he is a high character guy but is he a leader? The damn Steelers are looking to bring in Breaston and I'm furious over it. We have like 11 wrs on the roster already why bring in more spend that 5 million else where. I hope they wait sit on that money and sign some vets that get cut in camp or bring in Caldwell from the Texans who knows the zone blocking scheme we are implementing this year. I think the boldin loss is going to hurt yinz from way more then a production stand point. If I was Ozzie I'm on the phone with of trying to get bowe if you can afford him I'm not sure what your cap looks like right now. -
His offense had gotten stale and he refused to run the ball. Also he just let Ben do whatever he wanted. I think Ben called more plays then he did.

Better Quarterback: Flacco or Roethlisberger

Yeah Ben does take a bunch of unnecessary shots and hopefully the oline stays healthy this year and Ben fully buys into haleys system.v yeah I loved the Steelers draft and a couple of the udfa they got. Wheaton looks like he could be a great wr in our system. I like the fact the we have three wrs that can line up at any spot. I'm lookinjg for Reggie Dunn to be the camp surprise with his 4.22 speed. The ravens did pretty well in the draft my favorite pick of theirs is Simon he's going to be good. -
I would agree with that but at the same time it needed to be done.

It's hard to say Ben has hit his ceiling since last year in a brand new offense he was having his best season ever and was in the mvp discussion until he got injured. -
Better Quarterback: Flacco or Roethlisberger
thesteelhurtin replied to OutsideRzAcE's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Yes stone hands Wallace bails Ben out. Why is it so hard for yinz to admit Ben is better. Higher career qb rating and higher career completion percentage while starting 3 more years then flacco. Flacco is a good qb but he's not on Ben's level and every stat shows it. -
Better Quarterback: Flacco or Roethlisberger
thesteelhurtin replied to OutsideRzAcE's topic in Baltimore Ravens
How can you say flacco is more accurate then Ben when Ben is always over 60% has flacco ever been over 60. Has flacco even sniffed throwing 30+ tds in a season. -
Better Quarterback: Flacco or Roethlisberger
thesteelhurtin replied to OutsideRzAcE's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Big Ben got hurt this year and the Steelers were rolling he was never healthy again and the Steelers fell short despite having the number one defense. Also I didn't realize the defense threw the game winning pass to Holmes I swore it was big Ben. Throw the bronco game out the Steelers were missing 11 starters and Ben was on one leg. -
Probably because Shipleys arms are 2 feet long.
-
Also he said he is done because players today are about the money and not the game.
-
So he doesn't have first hand knowledge of the situation the problems in the lockerroom are gone. Wallace and mendy were not happy last year and were causing problems.
