Batch does a solid job every time he is called on. He can read defenses and get rid of it quickly. Yeah you wont see one throw deeper then 20 yards but what the hell lefty isnt doing anything.

If the ravens secondary was at full strength i would agree with you but your fourth corner is now starting and you fifth is playing in the nickel. I know i wouldnt be putting eight in the box with that.

He is out for six weeks with this rib injury. If it was just the shoulder he would be playing sunday. I think he needs to take the rest of the year off. In six weeks if we are still in the playoff hunt that means lefty is doing his job if we arent then what the hell is the point of him risking it.

You are using games from the begining of this year when the steelers were installing a new offense and finding out what worked and what didnt. Ask any coach and the will tell you the season doesnt really begin until november. Remember when the vikes and cards looked great earlier this year how about now. With ben in there this years team is better then last years. Last year we had no oline and no running game. This years team has balance and you will see it on sunday. The quick passing offense will help with lefties release problems plus he imo throws a better deep ball then ben does. i dont see where you could point to and say last years team was better because they werent. Lewis is a huge upgrade over gay on defense other then that they are the same team on d.

Im saying yes the chiefs ran the ball decently against the steelers but they do have a good running game. Them rushing like that against the steelers d is actually a bad thing for yinz.
