Ravens backup running back Bernard Pierce underwent successful right shoulder surgery today at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia to repair his rotator cuff, his agent told The Baltimore Sun.

Had that last year in February 2013. You have to rest for months and afterwards, go up to four to six months in rehabbing. Rather than dreading, I welcome the challenge of it. Hope he can get well over this and get back to the field in 2014!
