I would love to see Ray a part of the organization as a coach. Ed Reed too. I think it's an embarrassment that Ed is starting his coaching career somewhere else. Every time I watch Weddle play I come away wishing he was on our team. He plays football like the Ravens did in the Ray Lewis/Marvin Lewis/Rex Ryan era. (It's a shame I can't just say he plays Raven football, but I digress) Slight concern about injuries....I know he missed some time last year and his body could be on the decline. He plays a punishing style of football for a little guy.

Burfict is the closest player to Ray Lewis in terms of playmaking ability at the LB spot. I think he's that good. What separates them is the leadership, emotional maturity, and ability to hold make those around him better. I cannot believe, with everything on the line (6 straight playoff loses, coming back the way they did, all the work they put into that season) that Butfict took that cheapshot at AB. Unforgivable isn't strong enough a word. And pac-man- how do you put the officials in a position to flag you after Burficts screwup? You are seriously buying into that? Without looking it up I can tell you that coincided with our offense collapsing. If anything I'd attribute that to teams getting the lead and stepping off the gas. Dean Pees defenses have been consistently unable to finish. He cannot put together a championship defense (unless Flacco plays mistake free football). We have seen this time and time again. How many leads did they blow this year? Did you forget the two 14 point leads against the Pats? The near collapse in the SB?
