Nobody thought we could do it, but our men did. I am so excited I can't even speak. I am really proud of our Ravens.
Now I want New England for the rematch from last year.
Way to go RAVENS!!!
-
They are having a "Prediction Segment" on NFL Total Access and Heath Evans just predicted the Ravens will have six or fewer wins next year. He says we have "a lot of holes." and even Ray Lewis knows it. That guy is a Raven hater from way back. WAAH.

Max:
I hope you get well soon!!!

Yeah and the steelers defense was playing balls out and the second he was asked to do something he blew it. I had high hopes for him when the steelers got him he just doesnt have it though.
Didn't Dixon take them to a 3-1 record when Rothlessburger was out on suspension? He played us pretty tough iirc.

Torry, Bouldin, Evans, LaQuan, and Thompson should make it. I think Doss makes it too. I think Streeter will be IRed to keep him.
I don't think Evans is still here. Did you mean Jacoby Jones?

Anyone planning on watching this weekend's games? The Ravens ripped out my heart one too many times this season. I can't even bring myself to listen to football talk on the radio, much less watch it right now.
I know what you mean. It has been hard to move all the radio stations back to music instead of sports radio. I did end up watching parts of both games. Ef the Stealers. I'll be rooting for GB in two weeks anyway.

Somebody was asking about the Raven's vs Saints on NFL Replay. It is on tonight at 8:00PM (now) and again at 1:00AM.

4 Tackles, 1 Sack and a Fine
Did Ngata get fined yet for that perfectly legal tackle?

Kreuger ran down batch from behind knocked the ball from batch. If it would have been recovered properly, I believe it would have been first snd goal Ravens. Ravens score, Kreuger is a hero against the Steelers again. I know hes suspect but he did alot more to win this game then Pryce would've. So give him a chance hes been put in a tough situation. My gut says hes gonna shine before this season is over. Hes got speed to rush and get to the QB.
I'm thinking the same thing. Even his penalties today were over aggressive trying to do good things kind of plays. I like his speed and aggressiveness too.

I missed it, but I thought Norris had him on this morning. Can anybody verify that?
Yes. He was on 105.7 yesterday morning. He was joking with those guys saying he had a contract and needed to talk with them. I think he's just tired of the same old stupid questions. I know I would be.

Well, now I know how Seattle fans felt. Why would we trade Barnes for a future draft pick? I could see if we were getting help now.

Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times reports that the Ravens have decided on Billy Cundiff over Shayne Graham as their Week One placekicker. Coach John Harbaugh, a former special teams coordinator, rewarded Cundiff for a superior preseason performance, instead of going with Graham's Pro Bowl track record.
Cundiff won the job fair and square. Graham was released Saturday.
I'm a little surprised by this, but Cundiff won the competition on the field. His kick-offs were longer and he made all of his field goals. I just figured they would give us some BS and declare Graham the winner anyway.

Long snapper Matt Katula has been waived and cornerback Brad Jones has been signed, the Ravens said Satuday.
Katula's departure means that Morgan Cox, a rookie out of Tennessee, is the only long snapper on the team. Katula, who was bothered by a case of tendinitis last season, was the only Raven not to play in Thursday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

I hear he tore it in a non contact drill.
They better look into that field turf they bought....it's wiped out the secondary.
Foxworth said he tore it on grass. He couldn't even blame it on the turf. Just one of those fluke things in footbal.

I hope Mason remembers his little tirade the next time he drops a wide open ball in the end-zone. I feel his enthusiasm, but I feel it every year around this time. It's that "on paper" view of the team. And I tell you "on paper" they are looking pretty damn good. I'm thinking short of devastating injury, this ought to be one for the books.
-
why is it that so many are so sure that it is Troy Smith on the way out?
Because, since Troy Smith doesn't want to be the number 2, I'm sure he's not going to want to be the number 3. He did give a pretty good interview this week though. Basically implying he wants to help the team anyway he can. So who knows. I've seen stranger things.

This proves that the Ravens are serious about winning this year. Even if Joe gets hurt, like at the end of last season, they are still going for it. It's a bold move. $3.8 million is a lot of money for a backup. Plus it gives Joe someone he can lean on for help. How much do you think Zorn had to do with this decision?
Troy Smith might as well start packing his bags.
Damn I am pumped for this season!!!

look y'all WTF who cares we got a decent experienced kicker, which is a far f'n cry from what we had last year. chill...
But he cant hit the endzone on kickoffs, so now we are faced with, should keep 2 kickers, one for field goals and a kickoff specialist?
Crav, just admit you are secretly in love with Stover. Seriously, Graham had 8 touchbacks last year, the same as the last three years. His average kickoff was 63.3 yards, so if I did my math correctly that puts his AVERAGE kick on the 1.7 yard line. The returner is standing on the goal line when he catches his average kick. Harbs is NOT going to keep 2 kickers and you know that. That's the reason he got rid of Stover. So lets be honest here.

Hey everyone-
I have contacted a young woman who heads up the "I support O.J. Brigance in his fight against ALS" on Facebook about contacting the Ravens to get him into the Ring of Honor. She has some connections but needs as many names on a petition as possible. So I am reaching out to this community! Here is the "spiel":
This is a petition to have O.J. Brigance inducted into the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor for the 2010 season. O.J. displays the Character, Gratitude, Vision, Passion, Faith & Courage, Competitive Spirit, and Humility required. If you would like to see all the qualification for the Ring of Honor here is the link
http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/History/Ring_of_Honor.aspx
He has won numerous awards as a player, member of the Baltimore Ravens front office and member of the community. He is the only person in the history of football to win both a Grey Cup and A Superbowl for the same city. He is a true Champion and the Ring of Honor will not be complete unless the Ravens induct O.J. Brigance. For more on O.J.'s accomplishments please click on the link below.

If you would like to see O.J. Brigance in the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor please add your name. I will make sure it gets to the leader.
Thanks!

BOOHOO. So you have to throw insults around at people when someone doesn't believe everything Owing Mills tells them. Just because I think for myself and don't spit out what they hand feed you get upset.
What I would do would have started yrs ago. Off the top of my head I would have never draft Clayton. I would not have brought back Cmac or Ed Reed but would have traded them with high value. I would not have drafted Boller. I would have traded Suggs when he had value. Ray would have been traded a few yrs ago when he had slowed but was still doing very well.
I will think some more about moves I would have made.
Dude, I have stayed out of this until now. But, you think it is all about you. I think we should all just agree that you know it all. Hell, I'm surprised the Ravens haven't hired you to tell them how to fix all their problems.
No, frankly I don't give a crap what you think. You sir are headed to the 'IGNORE' list, right where you belong. Hell, you don't ever have anything positive to add to even one discussion. All you ever do is bitch. It gets old after awhile. Nobody wants to hear you any more, at least I don't. See ya....

I don't think they are going to trade Gaither at all. We always hear these rumors from NFL.com and then they are just full of themselves. They are moving him the the right side so they won't have to break the bank to re-sign him. If he doesn't sign, we'll have his services for only one more year, but cheap.

11:35pm..No one will be up except Spen & KS..
I'm feeling sick Friday. They better make a pick.
-
Okay, so which players didn't sign their tenders and what happens now that they didn't? Also, which of these players do we care about?
-
Very well thought out and delivered. Allow me to retort....another way to say the above is....he's good except for when it matters.
Yet another way to put it is the guy chokes under pressure.
Once again if I'm allowed to expand further, he'll be dependable until you need him to win in the playoffs.
Sounds like a sound plan! Let's bring him in! Maybe we could find a great regular season QB that folds up shop in the playoffs as well!
Honestly....sometimes I wonder about people.
Here are Graham's lifetime stats.
Yr Pct
2009 82.1
2008 87.5
2007 91.2
2006 83.3
2005 87.5
2004 87.1
2003 88.0
2002 72.2
2001 75.0
TOTAL 85.2
He has an 85% lifetime average, which means he's going to miss 3 out of 20 kicks. It may be the case that the Playoff pressure caused those misses or it may be that that was just his three out of twenty. He has a real live leg with many TouchBacks per year. Kickoffs are nearly important in the total picture as Field Goals. That's why Stovepipe isn't still our kicker, so, I'll stand behind my statement that I prefer Graham.

And those people get paid to write that drivel.
There were only a handful of professional writers that picked the Ravens today. The Denver fans were laughing at us all week. I bet they're not laughing now, but I am.
Ahhahahahahahaha!
