How about the fact that it's a complete waste of congressional time? There's no presented evidence that the country isn't ready, and this delay is ONLY going to cost more money in advertisement, political cash, and the cost of maintaining the analog signal.
There is NO need for it. The fact that it was the Dimocrats who pushed it through is only bait.
So lets save big business money over saving house holds money?
I haven't been able to get a voucher and frankly I'd rather save $40 bucks, times are tough, 40 bucks counts, esp these days. You'll figure it out.

The Baltimore Ravens linebacker, who played college football at the University of Miami, said he would “probably not” play next year’s game if selected.
Lewis, making his 10th Pro Bowl trip, said many players live or visit Florida often, so playing there wouldn’t necessarily be a reward.
“That’s no vacation,” he said. “That’s what we regularly do. You don’t want to go to the Pro Bowl and do what you regularly do. You want to come over and do something different. You want to tour the islands and bring the kids over here to see something different.”

Then, as Spen said before, your TV is probably new, and thus has a tuner already. That means it doesn't need the converter box (it basically has one inside it), and that you can continue using the antenna with no change.
I thought as much, but when they did those "tests" it did not work.

You can get an HD signal too. We had a thread on here a while back about it, Revo (I think) and I both tried it. They advertise that you need an HD antenna to get over the air HD, but you dont. I am sure its a lot better to have a mounted HD antenna but I could pull in a few of the stations. I was messing around when I got a new TV about a year ago.

Yeah I've been able to get CBS HD for prob 2 years now, with reg rabbit ears.

That program seems to very very good, my problem now is when I try to burn a video to the disc its says that it is too large.
The DVDs I'm using are...
16x
120 minutes
4.7GB
Even when I try to put a 60 or so minutes videos of anywhere between 230-350 MB, it says it too large.
Is there a reason for this?
Also anyway on a less important issue is there a way to modify the length of these video, like taking out credits/intros?

If DC is right, and WBAL is all digital than you won't need a converter and this whole thing is a scam, because i have rabbit ears on a TV in my house and WBAL works perfect.

I'm confident that the case isn't going anywhere, either. But I have great respect for the principle of it.
Also, I'm getting really tired of this same ridiculous "pot is good" vs. "pot is bad" argument every time this sort of issue comes up. I think everyone here knows which side I'm on, but my god I'm sick of it...

What would the final score be of a game of "your friends" versus "any NBA team"? 350-1? Worse? I would love to watch this game, btw.
Shit maybe worse 1000-1, but you miss my point completely. The fact is I have no business there and these girls had no business where they were, if you can't win a game in 4 years and you lose by scores like 100-0, you might as well sit home, sure sports are fun and games, but if this team (and I'm not saying they did, because I don't know), had any part in asking for this man to be fired, they are the ones who should be ashamed (the school AD Director not the girls), they should be the one firing people for letting this happen to these girls.
Also to Spen, I don't think the 3 point shooting is shameful, or at least not as shameful as if these girls were running up and down the court scoring lay ups. You've still got to make the shots, regardless of how bad the other team is going down the floor and knocking down 3 pointers to the tune of a 100 is IMO, a lot tougher and less mean spirited, not to say it wasn't mean spirited, then over matching people by speed and size.

There's a point, perhaps you shouldn't be fielding a V team, if you can't score a single point. I could get 4 of my friends and I'm positive we could score a point vs. any NBA. We might only score the 1, but I promise we'd get 1.

I have had luck with certain Roxio software. Are you trying to burn a data disc or copy a movie?

Gruden is a head coach, he's not going to take a DC job, but lets say he does, lets say he would agree to take our DC job, I see no way that it's anything more than a one year gig, he'll get a job if he wants one. Of course this year there might not be an opening, but good coach have no problem taking off a year or 2 to find the right job.
Find someone who is good, but doesn't have eyes on a HC job the entire time he's here.

Has a player ever gone straight from field to DC? I really doubt it, but he'd easily be welcomed as a LB Coach to start things in that direction.

They haven't been giving out vouchers for months. Money ran out, until everyone asking for a voucher can be given one why should people be punished because the GOVERNMENT FUCKED UP. I didn't fuck up, and say I had gotten mine a year a go, there would still be someone in my place who missed out. THERE IS NO FUCKING MONEY. Did they say limited supply/time vouchers? Did they?
No sense in arguing with elitist though.
