  1. Great game by the Defense after the 1st 2 possessions. Also solid 2nd half by the offense. We needed that one.
  2. Joe is playing like shit. The WR's are playing like shit. Thank god the Offensive Line is good and our running game is solid. Juice is our best pass catcher.
  3. Awful. Could have easily stepped into it too.
  4. Disgusting display by the Defensive Line versus this garbage Offensive Line of the Titans. Even bringing some blitzes and still can't get home.
  5. Terrible start and what a break there. That call should be upheld as you can't see where he is on the replays.
  6. Lots of blitzing and Linebacker and Safety heavy alignments should be coming our way this week. Brown is actually active and can cover TE's and RB's. Elam is probably our 2nd best CB right now. Ugh.
  7. All up to the Offense indeed. I'm a realist but you guys who don't think that 9-7 is a lock are crazy. This team will without a doubt reach 9 and could still get 11. Our schedule (as Eisenberg notes) is not that tough.
  8. This was indeed a blow. This team will put up some good games, but the AFC North is too good to overcome this loss unless we make a trade. Please find someone who needs a LB'er for a CB. Upshaw and Brown are expendable (though talented) and since McPhee is as good as gone this offseason, I'd also be willing to move him.
  9. Heres hoping AJ Green is still out next week. I'm worried about what this Bengal's team will play like with him healthy again in a game that is quickly turning into a 'must-win' for their Playoff hopes.
  10. Agreed, I was a bit surprised at the number of carries they gave Forsett yesterday. Especially with that lead, I was expecting them to mix it up a bit more. KO and Monroe being back will be huge, but aside from the Penalties on Hurst, he and Urschel have filled in admirably. No need to rush anyone back at this stage, I'm happy these young guys got some PT and showed us we have some depth that we thought was sorely lacking.
  11. Dude. Joe mostly had a solid day, but the 2 picks were horrendous and the last TD was a stat-padder. Give me a fucking break. The Defensive Line gets the game ball.
  12. Updates today: -Will Hill promoted to 53 Man Roster, likely to get some snaps tomorrow. -Christo Bilukidi to IR to make room. Ankle Injury last week was apparently serious. -Terrence Cody not yet activated. We have 2 more weeks to decide on him before they'd have to try and P-Squad him or cut him. The news on him has all been great until now, we really just need some depth down there on obvious running downs, and we know he can provide that. We have tons of pass-rushing talent. Comments on the rest: -Camp and Aiken looked good, but you can't just throw away all the positives that Jacoby and Marlon have shown. There's a reason they were the original guys getting the snaps. Again, I wish we could find a trade partner and grab a CB or DL for Jacoby, but you have to play him. -Love that we're getting HEALTHIER in Week 6, you almost never see that.
  13. Not actually a bad move by the Jets. They had tons of cap space (the bad move was not spending the money this summer), and actually reports are now that it is only a 4th-6th rounder. In addition, they could cut him after this year with no cap repercussions. Pretty low-risk.
  14. Lot's of people are high on Carolina, regardless of the blowout loss last week. This is not a trap game, the team will come prepared. I do think Carolina can win if they can get to Flacco though.
  15. No idea if they are working on an injury settlement or what the cap ramifications of that would be, but we are in position to cut him. The dead money is HUGE http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore-ravens/dennis-pitta/_1/
  16. Flacco had a very average game, why must you always pretend he's the greatest thing since sliced bread? The run game and offensive line got it done for us.
  17. I love Ray, and the parts you bolded were on point. However, he really just needs to shut the fuck up about this Ray Rice situation, he's looking incredibly hypocritical.
  18. And this is the HUGE problem with the new policy. I would lean towards only punishing people who have been found guilty in the eyes of the LAW, but then we have this: We've got Ray Rice, who clearly did something incredibly terrible and we see it on Video. Yet the law has released him from punishment. Now the league suspends him indefinitely because of the public outcry. We've got Hardy, who if you read the testimony, did multiple things FAR WORSE than Ray Rice. HOWEVER, there was little PHYSICAL or actual evidence that he really did anything. Even though he was found guilty, he does have the right to appeal. Regardless, in this situation, the public isn't freaking out because it didn't SEE him drag his girlfriend around and tell her he was going to kill her. Moral of the story: the policy needs to be based on some independent understand of 'wrongdoing', because right now this is what they have "A league source told ESPN's Andrew Brandt that discipline would be triggered by adjudication of a player's case, such as a conviction or plea agreement. " Technically, under this, Ray Rice SHOULD NOT BE SUSPENDED, and who the hell knows what goes on with Hardy because he has the right to an appeal.
  19. All of this talk of the NFL and Ravens turning a blind eye to the Elevator Video is absolutely idiotic. These organizations definitely could've done a better job at getting access to it, but they knew it existed and thus knew it would be released eventually, they wouldn't have purposely avoided viewing it. The actual story is that Ray and Janay told a version of the events that made Ray look a lot better than he did in actuality, and given Ray's fantastic community service, etc., in the past... everyone involved rightfully believed him. In addition, law enforcement SAW the video and let him enter the diversion program. Given that, if you're the NFL or the Ravens... don't you also assume the video 'can't be that bad'? Not defending the fact that they didn't get it themselves, but given the facts and Ray's history, I would've been ok with the 2 Game suspension and not given into TMZ's likely insane monetary demands for the video.
  20. Really hoping we grab LaMichael or even BJGE at this point. So sad that Pierce has looked like crap after that great rookie year. FWIW, I've read that they'll likely try to 'roll over' cap space left this year to offset some of that dead money.
  21. I think he can still play in the slot and/or as a Nickel Corner, and if Webb is healthy that's all we need, a veteran who won't get burned.
  22. 2nd half was promising. Get Webb back, pick up another Corner (Bailey?), and clean up some mental errors and we'll be fine.
  23. Great drive had given me hope, then he does that? What is he fucking thinking. Had a full 3 seconds to throw it away.
  24. I'm predicting 8, 9 or 10 wins.... but who the hell looks at our Linebacking core and doesn't think it's the STRENGTH of the team? We have 4 OLB's who could start on most teams and McPhee and Upshaw have the versatility to help out on the DLine. Mosley and Brown may be young but from all accounts both have been fantastic this offeason. If both are the 'average' starters they seem to be this year, few teams have the luxury of a 3rd ILB who can start.
