  1. Is totally out of hand..Why is it Black Friday when I shopped YESTERDAY, right after dinner? And how come I get the deal of the century on a couple of items I need last night & today only?? Ive been contimplating jersey cabinets for my man cave under construction, for years. But was always reluctant to pay 200 for them, well yesterday from 4-8pm Michaels had their early Black Friday, they were marked down to 60 bucks, AND in the paper, they had a 35% off coupon that could be used on any 1 item in the store.. I paid 41 dollars for a jersey cabinet, that sells for 189.99 the other 363 days of the year. Unreal
  2. I have the Kindle Fire, and absolutely love it..The Mrs loves it to
  3. LOL at the Jets
  4. Did they borrow these refs from Western Pennsylvania..
  5. SI's Peter King wrote Monday that "anyone forecasting a week for him to return is guessing." Dr. Clark Fuller, the director of Thoracic Surgery at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., told King that a premature return would put Big Ben at risk of nerve damage along with previously reported threats to the aorta. "This is not about being a tough guy," said Fuller, who added that a quarterback's typical throwing motion might prevent a rib injury from healing. "Playing football with a dislocated first rib would put you at severe risk. There are many things to be concerned about, including destroying the nerves in the arm." Fuller hasn't inspected Roethlisberger's injury but estimated the quarterback would miss a minimum of four weeks and hoped the Steelers wouldn't push him back too soon -- Ravensor not. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000097255/article/doctor-ben-roethlisberger-at-risk-for-nerve-damage

  14. I fish every saturday, I live on a lake I also have my cousin down here, we are the same age and he has a boat, have been out to what is known as the 6 mile reef in the Atlantic, caught Red Snapper(although they were out of season) plus an assortment of exotic fish..We will be going shrimping when the weather cools down a bit.. I threw away the golf clubs on the advice of my surgeon, says Golf is not good on the back. A main reason I dont want to sit around is because of what happened with my Dad, he retired early, but his wife couldnt yet, and he sat around waiting for her to be able to retire..He sat around 5 years, then was diagnosed with the big C in 2006, it took him in 08..I swear I hear more people stop working and become ill like that...We stay active now, the Mrs wants bikes, we have a built in pool and I just finished painting my Man Cave, so know Im planning where to put all this autographed stuff..
  15. Bitterness, perhaps? Maybe just simple familiarity with an offense? CBSSports.com reporter Jason La Canfora noted formerSteelers quarterback Dennis Dixon was approached about the back-up opening in Pittsburgh, but he told the team he'd rather stay on Baltimore's practice squad. http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/2012/11/20/3670284/steelers-quarterback-search-depth-chart-dennis-dixon-options-week-12-injury-report
  16. There was a story on it Steel, last season caus Oher was the most penalized LT/RT in the league for false starting..Harbs broke it down with NFL Officials, he is with the ball at the time of his flinching/movement. Im not saying hes an angel, and Im sure some were false starts, but the majority are not.
  17. Oh, and I absolutely love the hours 1100-1930, Im still an early bird so it allows me morning time, and Im home by 2005 and its monday thru friday.
  18. Yes Iam, but Im still going to work just not as hard..Im only 51, I dont want to just sit around. So I put my name in a Temp agency pool, and with my customer service backround, got a call didnt think Id like it at first, caus of the drive..but 35 minutes beats the hour plus I had to work up north. When I arrived in Fla in April, I attempted the retirement thing, by July I was honestly bored. The beach is nice, but going twice a week, I didnt want to get bored with that. Going to the malls, eh not my cup of tea.So now I set a new goal, work til Im 62, then file for SS and see where that leads me. And another good thing, Penske is a fortune 500 Company, they treat employees well, if I can squeeze another 10 years, that will also supplement my income. And after 1 year employed I get 4 sick days and 2 weeks of vacation.
  19. Yager, thats not on Cam, Joe needs to recognize the coverage at the line of scrimmage..If he reads Torrey is double covered, their has to be a hot read to Boldin or Dickson..If he reads it and throws to Dickson and he drops it, then it becomes our job to blast Dickson, but to not read it, and throw into double coverage, well nothing good can come out of that, and thats on Joe.
  20. Im peeved at Joe targeting Torrey 7 times completing only 1 pass to him..Torrey Smith was double covered 4 out of those 7 targets, that means someone else is open!!
  21. Well I heard Harbs has already appealed the decision, Drop the appeal, sit out vs San Diego (a game I had penciled in as a loss) and be back for Pittsburgh. Dont know what Goodell is trying to prove by using an incident from 2010 as a 3rd strike against Reed..
  22. LOL, pLAX is a great locker room cancer as well.
  23. This is pretty close. Its about 7 miles from our home, they ran the Govenors Cup last weekend http://newsmyrnaspeedway.org/
  24. I work directly across the street from Daytona Speedway, it is awesome, cars are already practicing, it is loud..I live 19 miles south of Daytona...I probably wont attend the February Race, the Firecracker in July might be more to our liking.. How cool is this, Im working for Penske, and since Brad K won the whole shabang, Penske is treating all offices to a lunch spread today..
  25. Steel, FYI # 74, Michael Oher does not false start, its been well documented, he is just that quick.
