  1. Ed Reed didn't attend the Ravens' mandatory minicamp last week, but the Pro Bowl safety did show up for his own football camp in New Orleans this week. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Reed returned to his old high school to hold a three-day football camp for young athletes between the ages of 7 and 17. Reed wasn't quoted in the brief article, but here's a photo of Reed teaching at the camp and another one him stretching. Ravens safety Bernard Pollard also participated in the camp. According to the article, "Kids were taught football fundamentals, instructed in techniques used in every position on the field and were taught life lessons, such as being responsible." http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/50137/wake-up-ed-reed-attends-his-own-camp
  2. Can we count how many times "Bitches" was used.
  3. Our Colts tickets were 80.00 back in 83..Section 2 row 23 seats 8,9 &10..No PSL's, we could bring our own beer in, in a jug no cans or bottles were allowed. Seats were right bend "home plate" at Memorial, 1st row under cover. I guess as we age, the crowd factor comes into play, heck I was on Ocean Citys web Cams Memorial weekend, and they were shoulder to shoulder on the Cam by Martys..That would drive me nuts if I was down there. I see it here too, We go to the beach on Fridays, last Friday was the first Friday the kids were out of school, our beach was filling up around noon..I packed up and went home.
  4. Im agreeing with Yeagerbomb..Folks said Joe cant move a team to win a game, he did it a couple of times last year and still his critics wont shut up, AND he did it on the National venue vs Pitts on a Sunday nighter, and in the AFCCG. I guess we should be thankful that Joes wife dosent have a big yap like Bradys wife has, I recall her mouthing off to the media that Skirts cant catch the ball too
  5. Why is this even an issue. Just stay on East Coast time..Brian Billick kept us on East Coast time and had a 7-4 record out West, with two of the losses coming his last year, when he other other issuses besides time zones.
  6. 8-8 cleet? Come on
  7. 1stadium 2 teams. Different prices. Only in America..Arent the psls like ten grand for the Jet Max you see that. Your nfl rewind just went up.
  8. So we err on the side of safety..That makes no sence.
  9. I dont know Papa, having Colston as your go to guy compared to a Mason or Boldin
  10. I dont get what they are trying to prove by not wearing the pads..Im not impressed.
  11. Ive always said something about these defensive players not wearing thigh and knee pads..Ngatas injury for half the season was a deep thigh contusion..Maybe if they would wear the proper equiptment it would change things?
  12. I dont, Brees would have been faced with the same WR set as we had..No down field threat til last year.
  13. No arguement from me, well maybe Joes 74th ranking.
  14. How good would the offense have been had Brees been the QB over the last 5-6 yrs? Maybe as good as we've been the last 4..And we could have drafted Dan Marino in 83, and who knows, maybe the Horse Shoe is still here?
  15. Go ahead, you can say it, My Son likes to remind me weekly of the ticket he is holding.
  16. Well, you have Pouncey at center that gets injured at the worst times, ususlly when the season is on the line and they will be starting 2 rookies on the O-Line. Ben was sacked 41 times last year..So you can agree with the 8-8 call, but on the other hand if they go 12-4 it wouldnt suprise me either.
  17. Stafford???? PAAAA-LEEEAAASSSSEEEEEEE, take away megatron and hes a roided up Kyle Boller
  18. I like Claytons 8-8 for the Bengals..Thats about right.
  19. http://blogs.baltimoreravens.com/2012/06/20/late-for-work-620-more-or-less-ravens-only-win-9-games/
  20. 14-2 Loss at San Diego.
  21. Oh we know, I honestly dont think the FO is even considering a TAG on Joe, if anything they will Tag Rice again next year.
  22. Plus....Where we live in Fl now there is an International Airport named Sanford/Orlabdo Int'l we are literally 15 minutes away from it..There is an Airline called Allegiant Air that flies 2x a week directly into Salisbury for 50 dollars, DIRECT FLIGHT!!!!! My sister still lives in Berlin, so even though Im 980 miles from Baltimore, Im a 2hr flight from the Ocean..
  23. are you kidding me dc? Well, put it this way havent been on the boards in ten years, it just got way too pricey for us down there..I really enjoy staying up on 138th st and the entire week wouldnt go past the 90th st bridge..I recall vividly, when I was a kid, I would save 42.00 during the year, that was for six nights, 7 dollars a night AND I would even win a pack of stale smokes out of the claw machine...and then do my nightly spending at Marty's..Now when we used to take my 3 kids they are from 33-22 in ages, it would be 200 bucks a night on the Boards.. I will go down there in the off season, I love eating and drinking at Harrisons on the inlet..
  24. Apparently when these cats come up against a knuckler, they should go there and practice with a wiffle ball and bat.
  25. McKinnie to 'shut everybody up' Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie doesn't feel the scrutiny that followed him being held out of mandatory minicamp practices is deserved. "I'm going to show up at the weight I'm supposed to be and handle my business and get everybody off my back," McKinnie told the Carroll County (Md.) Times. "I want to get this work done, come in at the right weight and shut everybody up. I'm only nine pounds away." McKinnie added, "I'm getting in shape. I'm lower now in my weight than any time last year. I think people got the wrong idea about why I wasn't out there last week." McKinnie said he currently weighs 354 pounds and wants to get down to 345 pounds. His focus has been cardiovascular workouts, not weight lifting. "It's the type of cardio you do to keep the wind going," McKinnie said. "It's not doing as much banging on the knees. My whole goal is to slim down. It's about working smart based on losing weight." http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/50042/w...
