I watched the Combines yesterday, they featured the DB's http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/chris-conte?id=2495272 If hes available for a 6th rd pick, i'd take a flyer on him, hes lanky had great hands, was snatching balls out of the air..Use him on special teams and occasionally use him in the nickel or dime..

Second... the gas tax needs to increase. The gas tax is the primary fund that pays for highway construction and road maintenance. The average american is driving more than ever (surprise), which means the roads are getting used more than ever, which means they need more repairs and upkeep (surprise). The problem? The gas tax hasn't increased to keep up. So then whos hording the millions from slots revenue that is set aside for roads( which they have hidden under "local impact grants"}..No Md does not need to raise taxes.

Harbaugh's plans sound good, but Ravens have to follow through

I see Mikey's bored.. God help this team if it fails to make the playoffs.. -
Smith has big-play speed and enough size to develop into a starting NFL receiver who can stretch a defense. Shows great burst off the line and the top-end speed to consistently get behind the secondary but is susceptible to press coverage and is still improving his ability to make over-the-shoulder grabs and come down with jump balls. Not a refined underneath route-runner. Loses speed in transition and doesn't have a real natural feel for finding creases in zones. Has leadership qualities, is a hard-worker, and is a physical run blocker. Smith's speed, upside and mentality make him an early second round prospect. We are picking 26th they got him projected as an early 2nd rounder.

That WR from Maryland clocked a 4.43 40 yard dash...

Thats why I asked what his definition of big year was...Mine, 2010 was HUGE!! in my book..
-
My take: Its a last ditch effort to salvage Cams job as OC. If Joe doesnt have a huge year, Cams gone. Depends on your definition of big year is, you want him throwing for 4500 yards 30 td's as manning does with a first rd exit? or you want him like we have seen his progression each year, making it atleast to the 2nd rd of the playoffs? I like what I see over the last 3 seasons: 2008 60% completion 14 td, 12 int, 2971 yards 2009 63.1% completion 21 tds, 12 int, 3613 yards 2010 62.6% completion, 25 tds, 10 int, 3622 yards

Joe Flacco led the league in holding on to the ball

4 out of the top 5 "I hold onto the ball too longers" were in the playoffs, with one in the Super Bowl... -

What would you rather him do, take the sack because our WR's are slow? or rush the play and throw the dreaded pick? The kid only had 10 picks all season.. -

Im seeing now that hes on San Frans got to get list..

Von Miller DE/OLB I think within 2 yrs he would supplant Suggs as the primary pass rusher for the Ravens. The million dollar question is, will he be there at 26 and if he is, will it be a reach for him at 26??

Orioles’ reliever Alfredo Simon has been in a Dominican jail for a long time now, suspected but not yet charged in the shooting death of Michael Castillo on New Year’s Eve. The Orioles have placed him on the restricted list, likely figuring that it would be a long, long time — if ever — before they see him again. Now that has changed, with Brittany Ghiroli reporting that authorities have moved on to a different suspect and that Simon may be released from custody in a week to ten days. His agent said ”we fully expect him to be back up — and pitching very soon.” http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/21/alfredo-simon-may-be-cleared-and-released-within-the-next-ten-days/

You might as well flip a coin to predict this years Daytona winner! I dont believe that, as usual 1 of 10 will be in Victory Lane.
