With three teams that could tunnel deep into the 2016 playoffs in the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, the AFC North ranked No. 1 in Around The NFL's division power rankings. It's impressive that the strength of the trio can buoy the worst collection of talent in the Cleveland Browns. Outside of Cleveland's millennium-long quest for a quarterback, the signal-caller situation is as stable and proven as any division. Ben Roethlisberger led the most explosive offense in the NFL last season and will get offensive line help and his superstar running back returning from injury. Andy Dalton enjoyed his best season in 2015 until a thumb injury wiped away a chance to get the playoff monkey off his back. Dalton will have an opportunity to demonstrate his improvement wasn't a fluke after he lost a load of pass-catching talent this offseason. Joe Flacco's return from an ACL injury is on schedule. After getting decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball, we expect a resurgence in Baltimore. While the Browns are clearly in rebuild-mode, it wouldn't surprise if any of the other three teams represented the AFC in Super Bowl LI.
  17. 20-25 as an oriole with all the changing Adair made him do. 36-13 as a Cubbie when the just let him pitch naturally.

  19. I'm home recouping, and for shits and grins turn on MASN, I'll be dam, the channel is on. Don't know if I should watch it or not, its not for the weak hearted. Nice seeing Dempsey and Tom Davis. Made me a little home sick.
  20. Soooooo what do with Kim now that he has declined to go to the minors? I'd have his ass on flight 101 to Japan so fast his head would spin.
  21. 30 freekin teams showed up to Ramsey's pro day at FSU. Uggggh. Think we might have to move up a spot to have a shot at him.
  22. We ran into the situation in 05, living literally on the MD border in PA my middle son wanted to attend harford community college, but we were shown out of state tuition costs. Stipulation was he worked in harford county, and the Mrs and I worked in maryland. So he was able to attend and was given an instate tuition.
  23. Something has to be done about our healthcare and insurance system. What gives the insurance company the right to deny any person a prescribed treatment? Who are they to say a person is not sick enough for that prescribed by a doctor treatment? It's happening to a co-workers wife right now, she was misdiagnosed last summer on a small lump on her breast, she was told it was calcium deposit. Turns out the lump was getting painful so in December she went back to the doctors, its stage 4 breast cancer. She's had the double mastectomy, and is going through chemo. Because chemo kills all blood cells they prescribed a shot to boost her white cell count. Aetna denied paying for the 1100 dollar shot, because she is still not sick enough. It's not sad enough to 1. Hear you have cancer. 2. Go through the operation and the shock of missing part of your body. 3. Being young as this couple are and figuring out what the future holds. You have to fear or better yet call the insurance company and plea or beg as to why the treatment you were prescribed has been denied. It's a sad situation
  24. On the job fronts, that's the problem today the generation from the early 90's thru today does not want to work. Look at your masonry field, its so bad the Mason companies owners get hefty tax breaks on travel and housing to bring in workers from Mexico. And the kicker is, they pay well, bottom laborers are paid 15 an hour, but the money they make is not bolstering our economy, when the Mexicans got paid, they immediately wired 90% of their pay check back home. So when the work slowed around the end of October, they would go back home, live like Kings because the American dollar is so much stronger then the Mexican dollar and then wait for the call in spring to do it all over again. You see the same thing happen down in ocean city, heck that was the early 80's, back then it was the Russians that came over and worked in ocean city and then wired half their pay check back home 100 us dollars per week would house and feed a Russian family for a month over there. Once again earning US dollars but sending them out of the US. Iam probably just as guilty, I have 2 sons, one phone call and they both could be employed at UPS, but either one of them want to work in the warehouse humping boxes and loading trucks for a year or two. I told both of them yea it's going to kick your ass, but when you gain seniority and you're able to wear the brown uniform and you get that first pay check you'll be glad. Neither of them want to do the bull work.
