  1. I am glad to hear he is doing well and will make a full recovery. I could care less about if it was "dirty" or not. This isn't flag football they are playing and things like this will happen no matter what uniform the guys have on.

  2. Our cornerstone is so young. I love that.

Just imagine what happens when we add younger corners and a legit deep threat to the passing game. The future's so bright we've gotta wear shades. B)

Does that mean I will have to wear my sunglasses at night?

  3. Word on the street in STL is that the Rams players really want to play of Haslett for a full season. I wouldn't be surprised if they kept him around for 2 years as a transition coach before bringing in a "face of the franchise"-type coach once the team is decent.

But if Rex came to STL, I'd meet him at the airport and personally show him around. :D

I would not be shocked if they kept Haslett around either since a number of players supported him.

The Ryan interview is Sunday. But like most of the other interviews, the interview is probably in LA.

  4. Sucks. I think Christmas season has gotten out of hand... but I also think the anti-Christmas sentiment has gone too far. So many people celebrate it, regardless of religion, and yet we have to fight about the legality of putting "Merry Christmas" or a tree in a public place... bah.

    ... and too funny, Spen.

I don't mind if somebody says to me "Merry Christmas" at all. But my friends and co-workers know that I am and they don't say anything out of disrespect towards me or anybody else. But we all joke around about it this time of the year and people have to have a sense of humor and not be such a tightwad. I hate that people have become "offended" by things these days. But I do feel that everything should be given as much attention as others. It helps one realize what a big nutty world we live in.

  5. Chiefs fans rejoice.

“On behalf of my family and the entire Kansas City Chiefs organization, I want to thank Carl for his two decades of service to the Chiefs,” Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt said. “Both Carl and I agreed that immediately initiating the search for the next Chiefs general manager would be the best thing for the future of the organization, and he will be resigning following the 2008 season.’’

Hunt said the search for a new general manager will begin immediately. Vice President Denny Thum will serve as the Chiefs' interim president and general manager.
