  1. only concern with Kindle is he may think he is worth 1st round money given his position on some draft boards going in....other than that shouldnt be too worrisome. He may not want to make waves.

    Huh?

I think because Cam drafted Beck and ergo Beck is a Cam guy and will stay. Not sure though.
  3. I have an opinion based on a coworker who is a friend of a player....I will not voice it though because of the bias towards him...
  4. Thank you Ravens! This organization just GETS IT! I thank God every night
  5. I think that they were also hasty in giving Boulware and McRary the nod as well..There are a lot of players that will play longer and contribute more to the team down the pike IMO.
  6. Hey everyone- I have contacted a young woman who heads up the "I support O.J. Brigance in his fight against ALS" on Facebook about contacting the Ravens to get him into the Ring of Honor. She has some connections but needs as many names on a petition as possible. So I am reaching out to this community! Here is the "spiel": This is a petition to have O.J. Brigance inducted into the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor for the 2010 season. O.J. displays the Character, Gratitude, Vision, Passion, Faith & Courage, Competitive Spirit, and Humility required. If you would like to see all the qualification for the Ring of Honor here is the link http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/History/Ring_of_Honor.aspx He has won numerous awards as a player, member of the Baltimore Ravens front office and member of the community. He is the only person in the history of football to win both a Grey Cup and A Superbowl for the same city. He is a true Champion and the Ring of Honor will not be complete unless the Ravens induct O.J. Brigance. For more on O.J.'s accomplishments please click on the link below. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/People/Staff/Player_Personnel/O,-d-,J,-d-,_Brigance.aspx If you would like to see O.J. Brigance in the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor please add your name. I will make sure it gets to the leader. Thanks! Bmorehon (aka Gina Allard) 1. Gina Allard 2.
  7. I know Papa. I want to cry when I think about OJ. The real tear jerker though is he would want to say a few words. What a wonderful and inspiring person and athlete. I wish I kept the Ravens Reports on my DVR....
  8. because the Colts took off like the last quarter of the season????
  9. I guess for me, we have a lot more great players both on the field and off the field that will make a great impact for this team to come. Based on the criteria, it doesn't matter what Jamal did statistically; if he makes it I won't be mad either. I will say I want OJ Brigance in that ring before Jamal though....
  10. Good question to ask! In my opinion, no based on the following attributes for the ring: Character: The induction into the Ravens Ring of Honor represents the highest honor for a career of individual accomplishment resulting in team success. Teams constructed with character reduce uncertainty and stay on their purpose Ravens of Honor maintain direction with intense focus character is at the beginning of the cycle and takes them all the way to a successful ending. Gratitude: Ravens of Honor carry forth a special attitude of gratitude, to those around them, they are always a fountain rather then a drain. Each is different but all keep those around them on the path of progression. Their basic ability to enjoy their talents and gifts of others help them to continually contribute as opposed to contaminate. Vision: Fueled by self-knowledge, great character and an appreciation for everything available to them. Ravens of Honor visualize short and long term successes in Technicolor. They are, through vision, great connectors. Those around them are energized and they use all that surrounds them to create an inspirational bigger picture. Passion: Passionate Ravens have an unusual ability to face failure, physical setbacks and exhaustion. They have an internal tenacity that helps them get back up when knocked down. Their passion motivates teammates to join in on the pursuit of the team dream. Passion breeds conviction and turns mediocrity into excellence. With passion, we can overcome all obstacles. Faith & Courage: Ravens of Honor stand tall in the good times as well as the rough times. They are help up by their deep faith in themselves, their teammates and their fans. Inspired by belief in a great destiny, these champions never waver from their victorious path. Faith is belief in what you cannot see. Great vision matched with unbridled passion sets up absolute faith. Faith evokes a special courage and confidence. When matched with action, faith kills worry and procrastination, the two traits which produce regular failure. Competitive Spirit: True competitors want to be put on the line and measured. They thrive on adversity and use it to achieve a special edge. They know the easy lakes get fished out first, thus they skip the easy. Persistence, determination, tenacity and sportsmanship are the hallmarks of this warrior mentality. Ravens of Honor need character, gratitude, vision, passion and faith to become a championship caliber competitor. There are no shortcuts and they do not look for them, because their competitive fire will not allow them to. Humility: Humility in oneself inspires the best of others and feeds our character. A vital aspect of the true leadership is the willingness of others to follow. Jamal yes put up the stats but team wise was always whining about getting the ball, always wanting to be traded, and oh yeah missed half a season being in jail. He never was entrenched in the community nor bought into the team concept. He also went to a divisional opponent for $$ and I don't get the feeling he left on great terms. Based on the criteria above, I say no...
  11. agreed....not sure where the hate for the FO lies. It is the one thing the national media praises. Kiper and Mcshay were on their knees....
  12. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft10/insider/news/story?page=KiperDraftGrades both ESPN and NFL network teams were gushing over this orgnanization.
  13. well....at least Kyle is headed back to home? I think Oakland is the end esp. for veteran players.....sorry Kylec
  14. If you are being sarcatic, that is funny! if not.....I am tired of sexual related indiscretions being blamed on disease....
  15. lol...when I watch the Ravens, it is like what I am at work....intense, focused and don't want to be bothered...so with that, I wouldn't want casual people celebrating a holiday around just as much as slackers at work
  16. agreed! looking back when we picked up Bannan as a FA from Buffalo, we all said "who is this guy???" I think the FO has the same idea in place......if not, we draft wonderfully at defense or even UDFA.
  17. If anything I hope it is a night game so I can be home on my own couch and watch the game without interference from my husband's family, 80% which are female and want to talk the whole entire time and get offended by the word fuck
  18. What I have heard that doesn't fair well for Ben is this....The girl went STRAIGHT to the police and hospital. After one week since the incident, the girl has dropped out of college and moved back with her parents. That doesn't sound like someone just screwing around with an athlete. And watch enough Lifetime movies you recognize her actions are that of assaulted women.
  19. OMG. I forgot about Adam Terry until I just heard that the Colts signed him....That is a pretty nice position to be in on the offense IMO.
  20. wow..troy's agent ain't very good. have him Cleveland...alright....
  21. I have been itching to post since last night and have been lazy What a loser.....I heard he was hanging out at a college bar in GA. The guy makes multi millions at 28 years. WHAT THE FA???
  22. What am I going to do if I play against him in fantasy football???? do I root for him or not? I guess I will just have to try and get him
  23. No, driving under the influence isn't cool. But, there are a lot of equally distractive things I bet all of you high and mighties do that have equally as distructive implications. I say this from experience. I got seriously injured in a car accident because of a 17 year old on her friggin cell phone who wasn't paying any attention to me. So like I said, don't judge and cast stones.
