  1. Including exhibition games, Ravens have lost 5 straight. Yet, I will never give up on them. Ever. Ravens will win this game in a slugfest and close game all day. Joe will march us down the field and losing by 4 with 90 seconds left in the game. Idon;t know how we get it in the end zone, whether pass or run, but we get in and win this game. Ravens 20 to 17.

I just don't see your D hold our O to 17 points. In the 1st half maybe, but not 4 quarters.

  2. The Bengals have the weapons that exploit the Ravens weakness on defense. Quick, fast, big receivers, athletic tight ends and a good offensive line.

They have been building this offense for the past few years, thus, their 3 game winning streak against the Ravens, even with the "lucky bounce" a time or two.

Like wise on defense, they have a good secondary and active line backers. They play the Ravens, mostly, in bump & run, whether they are in man or zone. This causes the Ravens receivers, who struggle, traditionally, with bump & run, to be late on their routes, which forces Flacco to hold the ball a second longer, and gives their pass rush time to get to him, either with sacks or forcing him to throw it away.

Because their linebackers are so active and fast, the dump offs the Ravens like to use have not worked consistantly.

Now, will all that change on Sunday! With a desperate Ravens team? At home, in the rain, likely, ?

In my opinion, the Ravens need to use the tight ends more in this game, deep ins, seam routes, crossing routes, rubs, to keep those linebackers back, and honest. This will open up everything else, including the dump offs.

Defensively, they have no choice but to duoble Aj Green, or at least play zone to his side. They have to give up a little pass rush to make sure they hit the tight ends right on the line scrimmage to slow them dow so that the linebackers can have a better chance of covering them....

    Good synopsis.

  3. I don't know who we have playing at QB this season. The jersey reads #14 Dalton, but the season stats read 5 TD's and zero INT's. Can't be the same guy, right? Anyway Cincy is coming to Baltimore next weekend and the Ravens seem to be reeling from an 0-2 start. Just because your boys are in a slump, I hope we don't fall asleep on you.

  4. Don't think so, you had your chance, the window is slamming shut on Marin and your 100 MIL qb, that I don't know his name

Dalton. I hate that red headed choker. I don't wish injury on any player, especially one on my team, but if he had to sit the bench over say an infected hangnail, I wouldn't be too broken up about it. Our #2 QB A.J. McCarron out of Alabama is better in my book.

  5. Living out here in Arizona with many native Americans around, you can't help but to notice things. First of all they have no issue wearing Redskins gear. Maybe it's just the Yavapai Apache tribe I live by, but I see a lot of Washington gear around worn by native Americans. Doesn't really seem to be an issue with them.

  6. To LOSE...

Dilfer predicted the Ravens will lose to the 49ers, 31-23: "As conflicted as I am having to pick between two of my former teams ... both move the ball. The pistol allows the Niners to punch it in, while the Ravens are stuck kicking field goals."

Really Trent, we only kick field goals, I thought you were an ESPN analyst, Joe has 8TD's in 3 playoff games..

Well he called the 'Niners score dead on. Gotta give him that.

  7. Last night I had a dream of a Ravens victory. Hopefully it was a precursor

To be honest, even though the Ravens are division rivals I'm pulling for the guys in purple today. Call it an AFC North thing. Most of my buds over at Bengalszone think I'm nuts.

Fuck 'em. I cannot root for a team that TWICE beat mine in Super Bowls.
