vmax Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Here's a good article from James Walker on ESPN on one of the 2 big questions I have about the upcomming Ravens/Colts game. At some point in these playoffs, Flacco won’t be able to hand off the ball and let others do the heavy lifting. There is a good chance that ends this week, as Flacco probably will be asked to match Manning with big scoring drives and key throws of his own. Can "Joe Cool" do it? http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/8500/will-flacco-step-up-in-indy Quote
yagersports Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 For some odd reason, I just don't think Flacco will have to win this game. I really feel like we'll be able to run on the Colts. I think this team has found an identity and I'm not sure anyone is really gonna stop it, except, (this is ironic) the Jets. They're the only team right now I feel that can stop our strength. I think Flacco will hook up for about three big throws and that's all he will need. I can't believe how good I feel about this game! I really feel like this team is peaking at the right time. Our record does not reflect how very good we really are. We've played maybe the roughest schedule in football and we're in the playoffs, in the second round. This is a tough football team that is capable of beating the vaunted Colts. Didn't we beat the Titans for the first time in the playoffs in "their" house???? PS, Robert Kraft has offered to rename the Pat's home Ray's Playground. He said it didn't matter whether on offense or defense......Ray was ownin em! Quote
