Dave Cameron of Fangraphs ranks worst transactions of offseason: No. 2 is Braves sign Nick Markakis & No. 4 is Mariners sign Nelson Cruz.

I said it a long time ago. Cruz and Nick staying would be a bad idea. If the O's had flinched at fan pressure then they would have the #2 and 4 worst signings of the yr.

Two thoughts:

 

First, while I agree with the sentiment... This article is a bit premature as with all in its style. We can hardly know the real value of these contacts until at least this season is played. But I still agree that my prediction is both will be busts.

 

Second, was the I told you so nature so necessary? You're largely speaking to people who agree. Just post that someone wrote this or ranked it and trust us to understand that it's in line with your views?

Largely you are right. But there are a couple who said they are must keeps no matter what.
