vmax Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 104-100 over Virginia Tech. That was a great back and forth game to watch and a huge Maryland victory. They had never won at VT and this win solidified second place in the ACC and a first round tournament bye. It was a team victory despite Vasquez scoring a career high 41 points. Now he's only behind Juan Dixon and Len Bias on Marylands all-time scoring list. Hayes, Milborne, Gregory and Mosley played a big part in scoring and rebounding as Maryland scored 104 points. Duke stands in the way. If they can beat them Wednesday night then it would bring about a 1st place tie in the ACC. A big "IF" because Duke slaughtered them in their previous meeting. Quote
