They have to....

Put yourself in Flacco's position against the Browns. When he looks at his wide receiver options, there's a career journeyman (Aiken), a third-year undrafted player (Brown), a rookie sixth-round pick (Waller) and someone who was just acquired on Saturday (Givens). Flacco has to think he's playing in the fourth quarter of a preseason game, not the fifth game of the regular season.

In order for the Ravens to improve to 2-3, they must change their offensive mentality. Through the first three weeks of the season, when Smith played the entire games, only five teams ran the ball fewer than Baltimore. Now, without Smith, the Ravens have to go back to coach John Harbaugh's roots and become a ground-and-pound team.

Baltimore essentially changed its mindset Thursday night. After losing Smith to a back injury late in the third quarter, the Ravens ran the ball 19 times and threw it 15 times. The fact that running back Justin Forsett ran for 150 yards, the second-highest total of his career, on Thursday night in Pittsburgh gives the Ravens confidence that they can win games by running the ball.http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/22486/ravens-must-go-back-to-being-a-running-team-without-steve-smith

Really....it's up to the O line. The Ravens offense will do as well as the O line can perform.

I mean...give Joe 8-12 seconds to throw..... :gorave:
