Frank Robinson House Hunting

This is an interesting and disgusting story about Frank Robinson having trouble buying a house after his trade. He wrote about this stuff in his book and I was surprised though I shouldn't have been. I guess in my head it seems too recent. I know that while obviously wrong people can be a product of their times, but how did players allow situations where teammates couldn't dine with the team or stay with the team?

Thanks for sharing this, Spen. Bittersweet story. It made me angry reading how Frank was treated in some areas of the city, but I was happy to read how his neighborhood rallied behind him.
