Ravens' Pitta reinjures hip at OTAs, undergoing tests to determine severity

Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta reinjured his hip during Thursday's OTA session and is undergoing tests to determine the severity, the team announced.

"This is incredibly disappointing, obviously for Dennis l, and for the Ravens," general manager Ozzie Newsome said in a statement.

"Dennis is one of the great Ravens, and he has done everything he can to make our team better."

Pitta's career was threatened after he suffered a second hip dislocation and fracture in as many years in September 2014, but he was able to make a seemingly miraculous recovery and made the Pro Bowl last season, leading the Ravens with a career-high 86 catches.

I do think it could be addition through subtraction though.
