Not converting those redzone trips is the difference in this game. It is shocking to me how bad, the play, the play calling is this year in the redzone.

Why has Mitchell had better success, albeit in just a few carries? He is quicker to the slight holes the line makes but cannot sustain. 

The line is the biggest issue, not giving lanes to run, no push, not sustaining blocks, not giving Lamar real time. The receivers are not getting open quickly either.

On defense, as I said way above, the pocket is getting pushed, pressure is one or two steps away from getting a sack. One reason why several passes have either been tipped at the los, or knocked off target as McCarthy gets hit as he throws.

Tighter coverage in this game will lead to sacks.

When the dust settles, Bateman was in a boot for either a foot injury or ankle. Humphrey sprain or broke a finger.

It was quite a hard hitting game.

I will say, that was a pick by Smith. While the tip of the ball hit the ground while he had it pinned to his shoulder, the ball never moved clearly indicating that the ground didn't help him make the catch.

I still say that their last touchdown was not legit, he double clutched it with full control comimg with his feet/foot out of the back of the end zone.

Also, the pi on Owuzie, was nothing more than hand fighting that the officials had been letting go all game.

The only reason to make those calls was to keep the score close. Yes, I will not waiver on my stance.
