Offensive Line Leads the Way

They were plowing the field and planting Patriots...

.....the best move came two weeks ago when Ravens coach John Harbaugh inserted Bryant McKinnie at left offensive tackle, moved Michael Oher to right tackle and rookie Kelechi Osemele to left guard.

That's when the Ravens became championship caliber.

They've always had weapons, but now they have time to find and use them. Because of their physical style, the Ravens can play smashmouth football with running backs Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce, and control the time of possession to keep their defense off the field.

Flacco has an assortment of weapons in Smith, Pitta, Boldin and Jacoby Jones. If the protection is good, few defenses have the skill or speed to compete with this group.

Finally Joe has time to find his receivers.

It wasn't Good Joe/Bad Joe. It was Joe with no time or Joe's receivers not getting open....and during all that, Good Joe did not become a turnover machine trying to force things. So the Ravens won more than they lost. The goal is always to win and Joe stuck to that in a smart, heady controlled way.
