Palmer not pleased with his play

By Scott Priestle, CNATI.com Posted October 7, 2009 3:23 PM ET

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco was his typically boastful self Wednesday. He promised a touchdown in Baltimore, taunted Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and said he will check the team's cornerbacks off his list before the game.

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer was his typically honest self. He admitted to looking ahead at the schedule, expressed disappointment in the offense's performance to date and shouldered some of the blame.

While Ochocinco continues to talk as if this is 2005 and the Bengals are an elite offense, Palmer has acknowledged they are not. His statistics are down noticeably from 2005-07.
