Ray Lewis was right. The crime rate is increasing...they better get a deal done quick.

The folks at WLWT report that Jones, who now plays for the Bengals, was arrested early Sunday at a Cincinnati bar.

He reportedly was intoxicated and disruptive. He allegedly got into an argument, and he allegedly was uncooperative when asked to leave.

As Jones was being arrested, he reportedly struggled to get out of the handcuffs. Ultimately, two officers were required to restrain him.

“Here’s a reality of this league,” John started, “you never pick up where you left off the season before. We’re never back to a minute left in the AFC championship game ready to take it to the Super Bowl. We’re not there until we earn our way back there again. Every team starts over, and the foundation for us starts right now. We build the whole thing from scratch."

It appears Adam Jones violated his terms of probation in Nevada.

I find this to be incredibly stupid. When you're on probation there is a whole list of things you can and cannot do, and every probationer knows them. Sure you can fudge a little here and there, but being arrested in a bar in the wee hours of the morning is on the top of the list on not how to get released from your sentence.

I know quite well.
