That does make sense. But Merryweather has history against him. The Todd Heap hit alone should have been like a half a yr. He has intentionally tried to injure people in the past.

There was nobody within 5 yds of him and he was right there. That was the easiest throw in the world.

OK I watched most of the game last night. Cousins was teh best QB on the field in that game. I still question Joe's short accuracy. The throw to Jones that would have been for a 1st down towards the end of the 1st half was a horrible throw. It was about 4 yds and he threw it behind him.

I think Merryweather should be banned for life after all the illegal hits.
