The hc said he was calling plays. I don’t have an issue with Rex doing it. He is solid there. But that won’t be an option. You need someone to be in the room with the d and teaching them all the time. Someone to be looking around and seeing the dl group is doing something wrong and can say it wed instead of learning about it Sunday. There is no way a hc can do it all. He has to sit in on offense some. He has to look in on st. He has to put some time in with various pp, like a challenge coach. We need a defensive overseer and Rex can be that.
