Sure I get that. You had that last yr and in 23 with dalton and mads. Now you don’t have it at all.
-
The way I see it is once the best part of your game is not a threat less assets are needed to stop the other part. These coordinators know he likes to throw between the numbers so you flood that area with dbs and limit his success throwing. I believe it will get worse yr on yr.

I like the deal money wise. The issue is I see us in a rebuild so we are going to waste good yrs on lost seasons. That seems silly. Again we could have had a nice return at the deadline for him. Maybe a 2 and a 3.
-
I think Lamar is always going to be diminishing from now on. The speed and the quicks will erode more and more and make. Lamar throw the ball. I don’t think he can be just a drop back qb. So it’s best to get picks asap and not waste anymore good money on him.

Jones signed. Not sure if I like that deal.
-
He has played a long time.
-
Some teams may just think he was hurt this yr. We can fix things. Look at these teams that make dumb moves all the time.
-
How long does Jenkins want to play for? He was only supposed to play a part time role. If he retires maybe peoples can be the passrush specialist, we would still need another guy who can take snaps past that.
-
Let Lamar walk or trade him to a sucker team.
-
Which means we need 2 starting dt.
-
The first round is going from 10 to 8 mins on picks. This should get it done an hr earlier.
-
Nothing here too.

I’d love vrabel. There are some good options out there. I don’t see any retreads I’m interested in except maybe spags.
-
I love your assessment. Maybe we have 1 or 2 starters on the ol now. We will see. On the dl I think you forgot at least 2 dt. Dalton is gone and mads probably is. How long will Jenkins be here? We need 2 starters there. I think you are right about biting the bullet to get Lamar off the books. In that time get picks. in a couple yrs we will need some new linebackers.

He was on staff for a sb. I remember the Washington loss. He was definitely ordered to fire cam. The turn around began when Ray announced his retirement and Jim Caldwell tweaked the offense. He helps lead to the promise land and harbs wants to fire him. After Ray and the leaders are gone it’s 5.5 yrs of wilderness. A below .500 record in those yrs and I saw nothing of harbs fixing a thing. Hell harbs agrees to leave after the season. Joe gets hurt and Lamar has to play and no defenses are ready for his skills. Do another nepo hire of Roman who puts an ingenious offense together but never expands it. Wastes 3 yrs of Lamar prime. The win percentage goes back up. I will just add time and game mang issues. no he was here. He deserves almost no credit. 4th in the playoffs? How has that winning rate been since Ray and the leaders left? The problem is I have never forgotten. He is a loser coach by nature.
-
He never had a time. It turns out he was a poor hire from day one.

This is what I said at 1-5. We should have been sellers at the deadline.

So what draft position will the Ravens be in?

Which is why they should have done a tear down at the deadline. -

I doubt he will. -
That was a pathetic game on both sides. Neither team wanted to win.

Even though the talking heads say players just need to execute the wrong coach can lead the best roster to ruin. A great coach can get average guys to play great. i count at least 6 starters needed in the trenches. I don’t it could be upwards of 9. I don’t see that being done in a single draft. I think 4 is about the limit. -

Traditionally that’s how it’s done. But we have skill positions in place so we focus on the trenches. That shouldn’t be as long except the cap is lurking. -
