That said I don't like that you have to make the designation of who gets it. I just think it should be where you can pull 1 IR guy back a season.

At the time when they went with that call the Ravens were not playing great. I think they just wanted to get Ray out right at the end of the regular season and a PO game or 2 and let him ride off. Things changed though.

I don't have a problem with gentrification. The Atl Olympics pushed out the old time people in that neighborhood. The Homestead tax credit prevents gentrification from happening.

I would not use it on an injury that takes 6+ months in most cases. Hey if it is an injury that keeps a guy out 2-4 months when the injury is in the summer or 1-3 months in season that is fine.

Like I said during the summer I figure they will wait until he is elligable to comeback. If they don't need a CB then they cut him. If they do they get a cheap one who has not counted on the 53 man roster all that time.

Agree. The problem is that unless you trade for one yo0u can't get a good TE. He is not going to burn to many picks to fix things. You are trading froma position of weakness now and you will not get a good buy. The LT trade was for later picks.

He isn't comming back this yr. It was dumb to give him the return designation.

I am not saying there will be some hard times gettingg to the end but in the long run I think it would work its way out.

Of course prices would go up. We don't pay the real costs of things. Basically we are proving that the US can't survive without something like slavery. We started with free labor. When that was outlawed we had sharecroping. Now we have undocumented workers who do the work below what is reasonable.

Cut subsitdies. Push the ansilary costs onto business. Also make farm corps pay a living wage. When all that is done the costs will be passed down to the consumer. Now the people will demand higher pay for their work and you get a new equalibrium.
