  1. Haloti has been the only one for the most part who has actually been doing anything inside. Maybe not having all the attn on him will allow him to be injury free.
  2. It is only accounting. All you need is accurate numbers on the contracts.
  3. Exactly. When you decide to pay a guy a ton of money and bonus maney at that you are locked in for a long while.
  4. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/27/chargers-to-release-jared-gaither/ I am thinking he might be done in the NFL.

  6. You could have said that about a few guys 6 weeks ago. That was before an achilies and tricept tear. He could be becoming injurty prone. Also he is a talker and Harbs does not abide by that.
  7. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/26/torrey-smith-moonlights-as-congressional-intern/ Good for him.
  8. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/26/ed-reed-didnt-fully-understand-the-business-of-the-nfl-until-now/ Now he grasps it. So when he kept demanding a new contract he couldn't get it but now he does.
  9. They are not going to redo deals. They said so. Also don't be shocked if 2013 is Suggs last yr.
  10. Pollard saves 1 mil. How is it that they can fit 12 contracts under that amount? Also UDFA will be signed.
  11. It is smart not to try to hold on. Look at the squealers. They tried and it set them back a few yrs.
  12. I don't see top 5 right away. They need to get their db's in order first. But the run is going to be so much better. They were basically a seive last yr.
  13. They need enough to pay rookies and sign players during the season due to injury. 3.9 I don't think is enough to even do that.
  14. They have to be able to afford him. WHat is the cap at now?
  15. Right now I think it will be much better. I can see it in the 16-10 range.

  17. OK but don't say or rationalize it.
  18. A really bad LT. He is better off being paid as a solid RT. Also if they draft a LT then Oher would be on the right side.
  19. I am so so on him. Some things a really like others I am not high on.

  22. I always think when players think this it is a bad thing.
  23. I can see 2 tackles. I think they are giving up on the projects that just have not worked out. They need to replace them. I still the Oher will be here long term.
  24. I think Bryant is out and a rookie will be the starting LT. I don't see how they can swing a starting quality vet with the cap where it is now. Maybe they make other changes and cuts later to do it.
