  1. It does matter. It is very similar to what I see as the bad trade for RG3. If you can't put anything around your franchise player you still lose. OK I have an idea. Give Joe $50 mil a yr. You think he is worth it.
  2. Exactly. Understand what the reality is. In 1994 I went to Woodstock 2. While I was there a family with a small child (I think they had been to 69) were freaking out with the croud and the rowdiness. Metalica, Green Day, and NIN do not equate to Country Joe, Joplin, and Arlo Guthrie. That is their fault not the others around them.
  3. Good point. Flacco did the same for quite a while. That does not mean he should paid like crazy. He is a guy who needs the parts around him to make him flourish. If he is paid $20 mil he will not have those parts.
  4. It is the same thing I have said about taking kids to the games. Don't do it. It is not an appropriate location for them.
  5. No I used Sanchez as an example of why you should not use w/l's as the benchmark of value.
  6. Then go to Boston and run around like mad.
  7. When did I recently say to let him walk?
  8. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/mma--uriah-hall-not-quite-comfortable-in-aftermath-of-devastating--tuf--victory-195107843.html Damn!! I have never seen a knockout like that before.
  9. $100 mil totals are old hat now. It is SB amount, yrs, and per yr average. I do not look at an individual player and wins. Joe did nothing in the game from a few yrs back when he connected with 4 passes. If you give joe $20 mil a yr and he reverts to Cam mode then the Ravens are screwed. Oh yeah doesn't Sanchez have a couple of AFCC starts? I guess he is worth $100 mil too.
  10. Hey when the tax payers pony up for these stadiums we need some more return on investment.
  11. Exactly. We have more than enough infastructure to deal with it.
  12. OK then other guys need to be expendable. Like when I was saying to trade Rice for the picks. He had very high value and plays a position that is easy to find. Right now I do not see a guy who would be easily traded.

  14. With Peter being more amenable to working with the Ravens now the double header could be done.
  15. OK but he had some horrid games recently. That looks to be Cam's doing but Joe was there to execute the plays. If he plays like the man he can make up the difference.
  16. Yeah and how often do your boys bring out the old guys for primetime games? Yep. It has been like 4 yrs they have done that.
  17. Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, New England, N.Y. Jets, Green Bay, Minnesota, Houston I would expect it to be NE or Hou.
  18. I agree totally. I think he is valued at about $15mil per. How about incentives to make up the dif.
  19. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/yay-nay-ravens-travel-super-bowl-parade-military-193636072--nfl.html What a bunch of cryong BS this is.
  20. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/02/05/joe-flaccos-agent-says-he-should-be-leagues-highest-paid-qb/ I hope this is just a negotiation tactic.
  21. That is not true. Ed Hartwell didn't like Ray either. There have been several who didn't like the Ray deity thing.
  22. I have cracked a rib a couple of times and it hurts like a bitch. 6 must totally suck. Sleeping would be about impossible but playing pro football.
  23. Yeah he is on the completely wrong team to have those views. Someone should use just a little common sense before they make controversial statements.
  24. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/02/04/bernard-pollard-played-with-six-cracked-ribs/ Dude needs a ton of credit.
