  1. Actually I have gotten to thinking that the War on Drugs has worked really well. It was started when Nixon was elected in 68. King got Johnson to put civil rights legislation through. The end of Jim Crow laws were coming. The black panthers were stepping into the void with Kings death. So with the federal legal judo the feds use if we can't beat them with the laws we have we will create laws that take the strong black leaders out. Also at the same time the CIA flooded the streets with heroin. This left the nuclear family in shambles and fathers in prison for posession.
  2. But there are some that are just not going to make it and you know ahead of time.
  3. KO is so much better at LG. We have to see if Gradkowski can play next yr. They need to draft a LT.
  4. Knee jerk gun control is stupid. The backgrounds need to be good and flag for psych issues. You look at Loughlin, teh Aurora shooting, and VT the schools all knew were suspect and might be dangerous. Also the way these events are talked about in the media it is creating copycats now.

  6. Before the season I could eliminate Cle, Tenn, Jax, Oak, SD, Cincy, Mia, Indy, and the Jets too.
  7. I still think the Ravens win the div.
  8. I think if you really want to make the run for the most part you do need the rebuild. NE is a real exception to that.
  9. Really? I said 10 wins this yr. I think I had 11 last yr. 2 yrs ago I can't remember. I was way off in Harbs first season. I am still suprised the O's pulled out what they did. I was way off on that prediction. I do not watch as hard at baseball. It is far more complicated than football. Also you should know that 16 teams don't make the playoffs. It is only 12.
  10. I have not seen the way this is coming up happening. I had them at 10-6. After they were beating teams I thought they would lose to I was starting to think 11 wins.
  11. But you just said it is easy to say after the fact. I have never waivered on that. So I was right before the fact.
  12. A week ago when I heard people on the air saying the Ravens wouldn't win another game this yr I was laughing at them. Not I am thinking it might just happen. I didn't see how they would lose to Wash.
  13. You don't recall me saying before last yrs season started that I said they wouldn't be in a SB? I said the same before this yr too. I will say it now for 2013.
  14. Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina Height: 6-3. Weight: 320. Projected 40 Time: 5.19. Projected Round (2013): 1-2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRAchTitGx4 I think he wouldbe a solid pick.

Sheldon Richardson*, DT, Missouri Height: 6-4. Weight: 295. Projected 40 Time: 5.17. Projected Round (2013): Top-25 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM-Zfc5I-P8 I like a lot of what I see but not 1st round value.
  16. Nico Johnson, ILB, Alabama Height: 6-3. Weight: 245. Projected 40 Time: 4.66. Projected Round (2013): 3-4. Ehh no.
  17. Michael Mauti, ILB, Penn State Height: 6-2. Weight: 239. Projected 40 Time: 4.70. Projected Round (2013): 2-4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSw0MrPIsVk Not spectacular but a solid system guy
  18. Kevin Reddick, ILB, North Carolina Height: 6-3. Weight: 240. Projected 40 Time: 4.59. Projected Round (2012): 2-3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vA6WRgstdW8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVT_DO0xsQs He doesn't get me to go wow. Seems to be a bit of a reach in the 2nd.
  19. Shayne Skov, ILB/OLB, Stanford Height: 6-3. Weight: 243. Projected 40 Time: 4.61. Projected Round (2012): 2-3 The VT game had me saying no but the ND game openned my eyes. ND was this yr so maybe he has gotten better. I need to see more.
  20. Kevin Minter*, ILB, LSU Height: 6-2. Weight: 242. Projected 40 Time: 4.63. Projected Round (2012): 1-2 Not a super star but does some special stuff. I think he would be a good pick.

    ILB's

Alec Ogletree*, ILB, Georgia Height: 6-3. Weight: 236. Projected 40 Time: 4.61. Projected Round (2012): 1-2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBD3yxwYZ9o He looks a lot like what they have in Ray. He is late to the play and misses tackles.
  22. http://www.nfldraftgeek.com/2013nflmockdraftpart2.html #26) Baltimore Ravens- Eric Reid (Safety LSU) Every year Ed Reed contemplates retirement, and one of these years, he's actually going to do it. Baltimore needs to find somebody who can fill in his role, as the deep safety, making plays in centerfield. Eric Reid isn't Ed Reed (despite the coincidental name similarity), but they do both have a comparable skill set. Both have great range, and can go sideline to sideline. Both have good instincts, with a nose for the football. Both of them are free safeties, but can come down and hit like a linebacker. The difference is, that Ed Reed is an elite playmaker, and while Eric Reid has decent ball skills, he (like most people) can't match Ed's ability.
  23. They weren't going to win a SB last yr. They won't win one this yr either. I expect the rebuild after this yr. It is long overdue.
  24. Hey you can go for free soon.
