Both he and Pitta are not concidered good blockers. The team does need a good blocking TE on th eroster and they could draft one. It is not wise to run wide against a fast D. It was said about the Ravens D for many yrs. It remains true.

But you can carry the ball and put it out so the D can smack it away for 100 yds and that is a fumble but not on the inch over the white line.

Dickson by anyones admition is not a good blocker so why would you make the success of the play dependant on him?

I have seen it to many times where they take receptions away when they should have been awarded. The rules are to complex and need to be redone.

I will tell you any day of the week that a QB draw in that situation is dumb. If a team tries it Sun it willbe dumb. Ultimately they need a down hill runner for the goal line. RR is not the right situation there. He doesn't have the pounds lin the butt that is needed.

Then a runner should have to maintain control going over the goalline. If you can just pop the tip of the ball across and the D knocks it away but you already have the TD that is crazy. The rules need to be the same all over the field.
