Both he and Pitta are not concidered good blockers. The team does need a good blocking TE on th eroster and they could draft one. It is not wise to run wide against a fast D. It was said about the Ravens D for many yrs. It remains true.

But you can carry the ball and put it out so the D can smack it away for 100 yds and that is a fumble but not on the inch over the white line.
