  1. This is why communism cannot work. People are innately greedy. They will want to take more than they need so the more powerful inthat system do. Eventually it collapses the market. Being absolute capitalists does the same general thing by squeezing out all your competition and gouging the little people. There is a small window between the two that is perfect.
  2. I haven't been listening over there lately. I would be the wind messed up their tower.
  3. I am all for rehabs. There are not enough of them now. People in their moment of clarity that want help are told to return in 2-3 weeks when a spot is available. That spot is used about none of the time by that person. If legal then the tax revenue put on it can straight fund rehab programs that can work instead of a simple 28 day detox which never fixes the root problem. Now people get out of rehab clean and dumped back into the same environment they started using in with no coping skills to avoid getting high. There is another reason to legalize and regulate drugs. If a child wants to buy alcohol they have to put up some effort to get it. Many steal it from their parents. Others have to go through a dog and pony show of finding someone to buy them some booze. I have been asked countless times by some kids to buy them beer. Do you think the local drug pusher checks ID when he is selling whatever he is selling. No. He wants cash and does not care from whom. Also people will not get help until they have hit the bottom. You cannot make them. It does not work. Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan are examples of people who have not gotten their yet. But you have Robert Downey Jr and Martin Sheen who nose dived to find being clean. People need rehab not jail. The fact is it is easy to get drugs in jail. They are just as prevelant there as they are on the street. If legal there would be an immediate spike in use. I do think that % would lower fairly quickly and plateau at some lower level. Portugal has decriminalized drug use to stunningly great success. The problem in the US is so many people have been indoctrinated to believe that teh end of the world will come if the change to legal is made. This is done due to the financial incentives for groups from the alcohol industry to the jobs program of the criminal justice system. They all have a reason to have the status quo continue.
  4. Meth and H are a far difference to weed, acid or shrooms. Once you get on the horse in the heavy stuff it isn't so easy to jump off. I would just be don't do that stuff. For me I have never done anything that will not grow on the ground. My lack of trust for other people has always kept me away from even acid.
  5. I don't know how much it takes but that pic is not really amazing compared with the many others on the net.
  6. No he will not win. The Town showed that he is bankable. It made a good amount.
  7. The Town I think will make Jeremy Renner a huge star. I found him last yr in The Hurt Locker (Best film I have seen in yrs). The Town will make him known on a wide stage.
  8. Meth does that to you. I would still legalize it. If people want to throw their lives away more power to them. At least we can get the violent crime out of it removing the dealers turf wars.
  9. That goes to the guy who builds the team not having a sense of what it takes to build a team on offense.
  10. I think they should move him to SS. That is the only way I see him sticking in the NFL.
  11. I also read debated stories that they do not see anything before Sept.
  12. Very little is a zero sum result. If Joe were to have Peyton #'s doesn't mean he will go out in the 1st round. I attribute many of Mannings early exits to Manning and his ego. I would not even put the expectations of 4500 yds and 30 td's on the kid. A lot of it is situational. Things break down at the worst possible point in games. If Joe threw for 3800 yds with 25 td's but the ball didn't bog down like it did so often this past season that is a win.
  13. Those things are why I would not have extended his deal.
  14. No I totally believe he is a paycheck player. No player with his experience and salary would sit back and play 2nd string quietly. He is fine with the huge payday and having to do little to earn it.
  15. That is beside the point. Every yr it is the center of the football universe this time of yr. In 2011 it is way back burner.
  16. It's about time. Late in the season they should have gone all in.
  17. Harbs isn't going to sit there and say he sucks. Yes right price. The question is what a backup RB price is here vs maybe a starting rb somewhere else.
  18. It would have been in Pagano's place.
  19. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/24/nfl-warning-coaches-not-to-talk-to-players-during-lockout/ This could be the dumbest idea the NFL has ever made. So if a coach attends an event and a player is there then here comes the fine. Also the coaches that are related to players. D'oh!
  20. Rob Ryan is DC in Dallas now. At least he is out of the AFCN. I am a little surprised they let him out of Cle.
  21. Breaking from the pocket early is a product of not having trust in your line. I think many issues with the offense go to the Line not being what was expected.
  22. The Combine starts today. It is amazing how the CBA talk has completely overwhelmed usual big NFL off season stories.
