  1. No doubt the OL isn't right. I do think there are schematic solutions to some of it.
  2. This is what I posted to Ken Weinman on this topic.
  3. What they should so is look at tape of the great Rams and Chiefs teams. That kind of offense is what they almost all the personnel for.
  4. I do thin that Yanda moving to his more comfortable position is a very good thing. It will give someone to throw a little help Birks way. Now one thing I was just thinking of that could make it work OK is bring Chester back out to go heavy on that side. Who knows maybe that is the plan. I just have given up on Cousins.
  5. If he looks foolish in every game except 1 that he played well then I am going that he will look foolish again. That allows for the pass rushers on his side to look good.
  6. I have seen him look foolish out there including Mon night.
  7. He has had playing time. That's the problem. He isn't good.
  8. http://blogs.baltimoreravens.com/2010/12/14/cousins-officially-moves-up-depth-chart/ Everyone coming at that rt side is gonna be great. Cousins just doesn't have it.
  9. No doubt. RR is more like Priest. Priest became a star in KC with a finesse offense. They have aspects of trying to go that route but not all of it.
  10. Indy picked up Sanders at the end of the season and they made their run. The Giants were good that whole season but got great at the end. That Jets D last yr was staggering and allowed for Sanchez the make mistakes. The Ravens are not great in any one part of the team. If they had a top 5 O and the D lagged then fine. If they had a top 5 D and the O lagged well we have seen that before. There are to many holes everywhere on the team.
  11. I am commenting that the fatalism that he will never do it is rather premature.
  12. I look at the game. The O packed it in at halftime. In 5 possessions they got no more than 6 plays for 31 yards. At that time Hou kept on the field and made the D exhausted.
  13. NE is playing in a whole other gear now. I do recall the contention of that inhalation from last yrs playoff guaranteed victory this yr. I know I saw that on this board. They got rid of their headache and after a few weeks got it going. ATL was up 13-0 before the Ravens did anything. I doubt they allow for that mistake again. Do you believe that if Ben had been in that first game that the Ravens would have won? I don't. What is he 7-2 against the Ravens with I think a 5 game streak going. Until they can beat Ben I do not the the Ravens can.
  14. If we played on a neutral field like Det. NO would destroy the Ravens. The only way the Ravens can win this game is if the weather sucks. That tells you nothing about the team. There is no measuring stick there. So say they beat NO now. If the wind is the same as the last few days I would expect that. Also I will give you the Browns and Bungals wins too. So they make the playoff at the #5 seed. So wk 1 they play Jax or KC. I think the Ravens beat Jax. KC I don't think so. So we will go Jax. The next week they play in Pitt. I think they lose that game. But we will say Ben is hurt so whichever QB of the moment is playing so the Ravens pull that one out. Now off to NE. NE will open up the largest can of Woopass this team will see all yr. The Ravens have nothing for that team. So I gave all the "IF'S" to go as far as is possible. But screw it. Lets go another IF. They make the Super Bowl. The only teams I see that have any chance of getting to the SB over there are NY, Philthy, NO, and ATL. I don't think they can beat any of those teams. Again neutral field I give to NO. The Ravens have not gotten better from week 1 til now. In fact I contend they are a little worse. At least the D was holding up well early on but now they are sieve like several times during games.
  15. So you are wishing for the snow to help you beat a dome team. You then claim that with that win a Super Bowl win is granted. OK I get that.
  16. Yeah usually an emoticon would make sense.
  17. Nope. Several colleges run it regularly.
  18. A complete 2nd half collapse also. An 80, 90, and 99 yd drive. Take off the glasses.
  19. I would be interested to see them look at the pistol. Joe doesn't have to drop back so far and the running game isn't messed with.
  20. The OL is soft. From Birk to the Rt side excluding where ever they put Yanda. Cousins should have been done away with. There are some really solid C in this draft. There are also some good OT's that could play RT. Last night I was watching stunts being brought up the middle right side many time.
  21. Oher has less experience also. Next season he could very well show he is better.
  22. Pernell McPhee Miss St 6-4 285 7 sacks Dontay Moch Nev 6-1 245 29 sacks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gtsE4RxIt4
