I do not believe he can practice on th pup list. All I think he can do is watch and get in shape. I think drills are out.

They like playing with team. They played with Cle. See if they blow Buf out. That is a team they should destroy. If they don't it is a major problem going forward.

Why wouldn't he be a factor. He is more of a team player than Moss. He knows the system. The QB knows how he plays. 2 weeks to get in a groove.

At one time 6 preseason games was essential for determining rosters. They would bring in over 100 guys to figure out the roster. Now with todays talent evaluation they only bring in 80. They would change the whole off and pre season to get the info they need to make the roster. The best idea I heard was bringing in the young guys about 2 weeks before the vets like an extra rookie camp.

In the past I would agree with your assesment on Ed. Over the last 3 yrs he has been hit or miss. I think some OC's game plan for him. They know he likes to freelance and I think they throw in some false flags for him to bite on and let Ed get out of position. In that Troy is everywhere from LOS to 15 yds deep and his jumping a play is defferent I don't think he is loured from the play.

I knew you would win. I do not see Brown firing Lewis for anything. One he would not allow the strength and conditioning guy to be fired for god knows how many coaches until Marvin got there. Also they were perenial losers for about 12 straight seasons. Marvin has got the turning. If he can squeeze a little more control out of Brown this off season he will be in good shape. If not he is a FA and I see a half dozen teams knocking at his door.

Troy is the best Safety in the league. He is almost as dynamic a playmaker as Ed is and he hits like Bob Sanders. He is everywhere on the field. Being that you guys were 4-1 with him and I believe 5-6 without him last yr. He changes your entire D.

The pass D was pretty bad until Reed went down last yr. At that point Ziby took over. When he saw things got better with Ziby he played within the D at the end of the season.
