Sure but he should have added Reed, CMac, Flynn, and several others. I do think that they should have kept Bart and or AD over Suggs. Pashos was an OK RT and not giving him a big deal was the right move.
They are back cheap. They let them walk for the big payday and when their value bottoms out and they can find a way to use them. Then they can be brought back at a favorable price.
I love MMA. They don't kick you when your down except in the legs. That was clearly just a bad official. She seemed to not really know what she was doing. John McCarthy, Mario Yamasaki, or Herb Dean would not have let that happen.
Steelers that don't get to come back. Willie Parker Najeh Davenport Bryant McFadden Alan Faneca Clark Haggans Joey Porter Antwaan Randle El Kimo von Oelhoffen Plaxico Burress Kendrell Bell Amos Zereoue Mark Bruener Josh Miller Also off the top of my head I recall Keven Greene being allowed to walk. Oh yeah that guy Rod Woodson too.
Lets add from the mouth of Mark Viviano. Suggs told him that at times he had know idea what he was supposed to be doing last yr. That is what classroom time is for. That is what OTA's is alot of. Also his numbers have been going down since his first 2 seasons. I also think he would produce more is he tried hard all the time.
Yeah the relief wells are going really fast. That is some great news. When they connect with the first well they will pump that mud down clogging the hole. Then they will perminantly plug the hole.
The Pats and the Steelers both cut ties with guys early. Most of the time it works out well for them. Lawyer Maloy being one of the big ones they let go of and it was startling but had no effect on the team.
There is no loyalty in pro sports. Where did you get an idea like that? Was the team loyal when they cut Keith Fitzhugh? What about with Cleo Lemon? I get it they were loyal when they cut Steven Hauschka. So was Jason Brown loyal to the team when he signed with the Rams? Maybe Bart Scott was when he went to NY. It is a business, nothing more nothing less. The team must put themselves in the best possible position to win. The players have to find the best place for them finacially and or personally. If the Ravens had traded Reed 5 yrs ago Webb would never have had any personal relationship with Ed to have severed.
In all the MMA I have watched I have never seen such a poor deminstration of being an official ever. This fight should have been called at least 6 different times. "Stand up" is all the official would say. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoY9-wOzoLo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUyEVaCUAgk
This is exactly what I was saying. It would have been better to trade him before that old deal was done and have younger guys that are ready to go now.
Yeah that sucks. I guess Nestor is hemoraging money. In the last yr he has dumped Casey Willet, Haney, and Ray. He lost Rob Long and Cunningham over the last couple of yrs. It was great to come back from Vacation and find out the night before you go back to work that you have no job anymore.
I think he said where he stood the day after the interview. We will see who wants this thing before to long. I think they try to make a hire by the end of July.
