Isn't Jimenez pitching tomorrow? It's all good!

I have a feeling he never plays.

I went to Jamaica at the end June that year. I didn't have a smartphone and I don't think my friend's worked there so I pretty much had no idea how the Orioles were doing. If my memory is correct I think when I got back I discovered they lost almost every game when I was gone.

Screw this. If they can't win 7 in a row I can't bother to follow them.

And with the suspensions handed down we can be sure things like what happened Tuesday will continue. Ventura might miss 2 starts, maybe just 1. What a deterrent! Nice comeback win tonight.

Playing some good baseball, 12 games over 500. Been fun so far.

It sucks that I am sure we will lose him for more real games than they will lose Ventura for; but I have no problem with Manny charging the mound after obviously being hit on purpose. Pretty decent effort from Jimenez. Bats looked good from the start. Anything else interesting happen? Just a few fireworks! When a pitcher instigates a brawl like that he should get 2 to 3 times the number of games the batter does. If he gets 5 games he'll miss one start. I really liked the way we immediately put the game out of reach after the hijinks.

That was a timely hit! When Trumbo didn't score on Peña's hit I thought for sure it was going to be a loss. Nice easy 9th too!

Didn't they just call up McFarland? And also Duensing. I know the bullpen was spent I just think there were moves that could have been made to keep the game in hand and not hang Jimenez out to dry. Oh well, no matter. It's a win.

I thought Jimenez pitched well tonight and should have been yanked before half the damage was done. I rarely disagree with Buck, mainly because hindsight is 20/20 but thought he should have pulled Jimenez after the almost grand slam.

Can we please have computerized balls and strikes soon? Please? Jimenez was terrible so it wouldn't have changed much but Salazar was getting calls Jimenez wasn't.

I think, for the most part, they are what they are at this point. This team is going to have lots of strikeouts some days. Hopefully not 3 or 4 days in a row though. Bad series, but still a good season and good offense so far.
