I really got into it a big way when I moved down here and started buying blocks of Caps tickets off a friend that has a full season package. I was planning on getting Center Ice this year too. This stoppage is insane on both sides...yes they have a great product, but you don't sign a massive TV deal to finally get a serious push getting the product out there and then cancel a season. The owners were greedy and Fehr is a cock who is perfectly content to destroy a game in the name of a salary cap crusade. I'm really hoping that some sanity breaks out soon. I won't complain if they manage to get back on the ice this season but I won't kill myself if not. Actually have rinkside seats to see the Hershey Bears and Norfolk Admirals at VZ Center in a few weeks

Before I forget I wanted to complain about the insanity of calling a pass on our last 3rd an 2. Yes a first down ends the game immediately, but why the fuck do you want to risk stopping the clock and giving them a second more than you absolutely have to? Much less an INT, considering how good their coverage was all night and that our passing game was just not getting it done? As far as I'm concerned we're lucky Joe was sacked and nobody got hurt on the play. We've seen how that movie ends way too many times. Fuck you Cam.

Week 8 is a bad time to change OCs. Harbaugh better have that CTJ meeting with Cam, but he needs to be gone after this season. I'm all for promoting Caldwell, and doing it the right way will put him in a position to succeed. Trying to change mid-season won't accomplish anything positive. Pees could be gone tomorrow as far as I'm concerned. There's still too much talent there for them to be playing that poorly.
