  1. After having wasted a few minutes of my life watching this show online, I have to ask if anyone else feels like the show has gotten worse, a lot worse in recent times.

With a showname like that I expect to see glimpses from behind the bench in good times and in bad times, but increasingly I feel like we never get to see anything when things are going badly instead you get this extremely censored version of glimpses from behind the bench when things are good and only on field action when things are going badly.

I get it, that's Harbaugh's memo, but I am sorry to say, I find it unbearable.

Anyone getting any enjoyment out of this new focus of the show, because personally I feel like I am done watching anything on the official website.

I think the interesting quote in that article is

Ravens Permanent Seat Licenses reached sold-out status four years ago, but as more fans inquired about purchasing season tickets, the Ravens created The List to give those interested the opportunity to buy PSLs directly from the Ravens as they became available.

The article was posted on Aug 20, 2008 so that would put it in place for the 2004 season maybe?

  3. Browns are embarrassing the Stealers.

I hope the Browns win as that will only increase fan anger when the coaching staff/front office is fired.

Only in Cleveland do they consistently get rid of their coaching staff/front office when they start getting competitive only to rebuild again. Long may it continue.

  4. I am with papa on this one. Sure, it is a long process for a fan to walk away, but look at baseball, it's not impossible.

The NFL wants high scoring games like arena football, yet arena football is not widely popular.

The NFL wants contact like flag football, yet flag football is not widely popular.

Could the combination of two relatively unpopular sports become a success? Sure, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Then there is one other aspect to consider. The move to HDTV was a very good one for the NFL. I think the NFL looks great on HDTV, but the world of TV is not standing still. They are trying 3D, not a great succes if you ask me, but 4k resolution is around the corner. Is the NFL the best suited sport to take advantage of the move from HDTV to 4k like they were when SD moved to HD? I doubt it.

My guess would be the NHL.
