  1. Yes they are "on course." How well??? We will see over the next 4 weeks against the Colts, Chargers, Bengals and Vikings. What's very exciting for me is that the Ravens finally burned the stacked box to the ground and now know they can do it. Good Read.....Consistently inconsistent Ravens are emerging as clear threat in AFC (msn.com)
  2. Agree! They will have to sell out to stop the run and hope that the Ravens have a day passing the ball like they had in Detroit. That's how every D will play the Ravens O. Detroit and Denver stopped the run....well kind of. Ravens had around 100 yards rushing both games. Opposing D's hopes that the Ravens passing attack is more like the one in Detroit. Good news is that the Ravens receivers trashed a very good Bronco secondary. I'm so happy! I have so much to worry about for this next quarter of the season!
  3. That's the goal! Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter “Ravens four practice squad protections this week: QB Trace McSorley, RB Le'Veon Bell, OT David Sharpe, DT Reginald McKenzie If Villanueva can't play Monday, Ravens would likely need to elevate 2 OTs from practice squad.” eff Zrebiec on Twitter “Ravens had former LSU CB Kevon Toliver in for a workout today, per league's personnel notice. Toliver started two games with the Bears in 2018 and 2019 and played in two games for the Broncos last year.” Baltimore Ravens on Twitter “Rookie WR Rashod Bateman has "a chance of playing this week."
  4. Monday Night Football At home! Oh Yea! 67.1% Ravens win probability. 7 point favorites and the over/under is 47. The Colts are 1-3 having lost to the Chargers, Seahawks and Titans. Team Stats Points Per Game 20.8 26.3 Points Allowed Per Game 24.3 23.0 Total Yards 348.3 433.8 Yards Passing 236.3 269.3 Yards Rushing 112.0 164.5 Yards Allowed 346.0 379.0 Pass Yards Allowed 232.0 293.3 Rush Yards Allowed 114.0 85.8.................Colts vs. Ravens - Game Summary - October 11, 2021 - ESPN Frank Reich will have his team ready He's an excellent HC. He will find the Ravens weaknesses and target them. However, Wink and Greg....... are working overtime to thwart his best laid plans. The Colts 1-3 record puts their backs against the wall. Their players are a prideful bunch, and even though it's only the fifth game of the season, for the Colts, this game means everything if they are to stay in the Hunt. Expect them to go all out for 60 minutes and come up with some trick plays. Yea....it could be a trap. Then again, I get paid to worry. And...and then again they're not these guys... After the Ravens Sunday win over the Broncos, a hunched over Frank Reich contemplates the plate full of worry stew in front of him. He has a bountiful serving of "Oh shit! We have to defend the whole field!" He reads, "Lamar has 1077 yards passing and 279 rushing for QBR of 59.2. On pace for 4,577.25 yards passing, a league leading 14.2 ypp, and 1,185.75 yards rushing." and silently reaches for the and as images of last seasons 24-10 Ravens stampede over his Colts enter his troubled mind. He reads some more..."Average yards per catch: Brown 17.2, Watkins 16.1 Andrews 14.1, Proche 17.2, Duverney 9.2 and Williams 9.0." and reaches for "And We're Off!" "Hey! Stop looking over there!" "Coach said flush him out of the pocket. Not give up a TD!"

    Buy Or Sell

ESPN just posted their 1st Quarter Rankings and have the Ravens at #7 ahead of the 3-1 Cowboys, 3-1 Chargers, 3-1 Raiders and 2-2 Chiefs. Buy or Sell: The #7 ranking is where the Ravens should be.
  6. ESPN 1st Quarter rankings has the Ravens at #7.

    Buy Or Sell

I was worried. I should have been clearer on this post. I was thinking about the first 1/4 of the season. When they lost JK, Gus, Peters and Stanley I was beginning to see a lost season. Not now. I'm a buyer.
  9. My guess is Proche. Who has developed a terrific work ethic and skills. He will start on many teams when he becomes a FA. Duverney has too much speed and ST value. Great problem to have.
  10. The season has mercifully ended with the O's getting the 1st pick in the draft. I'm amazed that I followed them all year. I probably watched about 20 games yet I followed the box scores everyday. That's more attention that I've given to the O's in 20 years. My love for them from way back in the past keeps carrying on. They are "Our Guys."
  11. I have to give the Ravens an A-. I really didn't know how they could possibly overcome and battle through 20 injured players during this stretch. They did that and more as the new players and back ups are filling in, getting the job done and developing communication and chemistry. This will help them compete over the next quarter. In short, they remain in the Hunt when football logic says they should be 2-2 or 1-3 due to the adversity that has hit this team. There really is grit in this team. The A- is more a testament to their next man up, never doubt or quit mentality, when so many things were not going their way. With all kinds of holes and weaknesses showing up, they keep fighting to address them and improve. With all the weaknesses and ways them can lose, they really fought to the finish in all their games and found ways to win. You have to admit that we have seen some very exciting Ravens football. Sloppy at times??? Ugly??? Yea...that's the Ravens. Fighters and scrappers. AFC North after four weeks … Ravens (3-1) Bengals (3-1) Browns (3-1) Steelers (1-3).. Two Thumbs Up Tucker....absolutely amazing. Lamar has 1077 yards passing and 279 rushing for QBR of 59.2. On pace for 4,577.25 yards passing, a league leading 14.2 ypp, and 1,185.75 yards rushing. WOW! Brown has 326 yards receiving. 17.2 ypc, and 3 TD's. Offense has scored 105 points. Defense has surrendered 92 points...23 per game avg. They rank #5 in yards at 420 yards per game and #9 at 26.3 points per game. Average yards per catch: Watkins 16.1 Andrews 14.1, Proche 17.2, Duverney 9.2 and Williams 9.0. Imprortantly the Ravens are now up to #13 in passing yards per game at 255.5 ypg. They were last in 2021 at 171.2. Progress!!! The D has 10 sacks. 22 TFL. 3 INT's. Only 1 forced fumble. They are giving up 85.8 yards per game rushing and 273 yards passing. -1 turnover differential. All things considered: Yes there is room for improvement. You can see that in the stats and the games. I say that this is really good news. Have a cold beverage on dee........ REC 19 TD 3
  12. It won't let me in.

Buy or Sell: The Ravens are handling adversity well.
  14. Long time coming. Two Thumbs Up! It's only one game yet it is a goal that everybody has been hoping to see and bear fruit. If the Ravens can get consistent here then "Fine. Sell out to stop the run and lose." Lamar looked good and threw effectively to all areas of the field. Andrews made key catches in the middle because LB's can't cover him. Brown took the top off the defenses because CB's can't match his speed. Watkins, Duverney and Proche made plays everywhere in the short game. Duvenery and Proche's work is paying off. Lamar has serious weapons and options. Most importantly the O line gave Lamar time. It takes everybody working together to have this kind of success.
  15. I was worried too. and like you said, the defense clamped down....that is everybody except Queen. He's a definite liability. For the game the Broncos ran for 106 yards on 16 carries for a 6.1ypc.
  16. Agree. Also it was so spotty as to how they used the Backyard Dogs that I wondered what the hell are they doing. Bell is not a fit for this rushing scheme that requires you to go north with a full head of stream. Stutter steps don't work.
  17. What I see is important progress. Lamar has receivers that he can count on. Brown, Andrews, Watkins, Duverney and Proche. All of them delivered today. The timing, communication and rhythm is beginning to happen. And that's just what the Ravens need against the teams who sell out to stop the run which until now was one way to beat the Ravens. 60.8 yards in the air. Lamar's longest completion and 2nd longest in the NFL this year
  18. A very important win because of the decimated roster. This keeps them in the hunt until players can come back healthy.
  19. 3 weeks in a row with incredible last seconds endings. I had given up on the 100 yards and was shocked to see them go for it. Then very happy for the team. 43 straight games. Now they have an opportunity to smash it and set it so far that it may never get broken. I know the only stat that matters is wins and they don't play for stats. In this situation I think it was OK.
  20. Williams is in the dog house for fumbling and pass blocking. He must have fucked up this week. And yes...he's their best runner other than Lamar and I want to see him out there too.
  21. That was sweet! The team wanted it and Harbaugh ok'd it. Great for team unity and pride...and trust and togetherness “Harbaugh said the 100-yard rushing streak is meaningful for team and it was 100 pct his decision to not take knee. “As a head coach, I think you do that for your players and you do that for your coaches. It’s something they’ll remember for the rest of your lives.””
  22. Denver is missing 7 starters. That helps towards leveling the playing field.
  23. I am a nervous Nellie looking at the worst that could happen....meaning this weak roster gets exposed. But as for your post....Love it! Oweh and Houston should have a feast. D clamps down, Brown, Andrew's and Watkins come thru....
  24. Tucker was practicing 68 yard kicks this past week. I don't think my nerves can take it he has to make a last seconds, 68 yards to win the game.
  25. Update: From Jaimeson Hensley on Twitter “Lamar Jackson moved around well Friday, his first practice after missing two days with a back injury” “Ravens CB Anthony Averett did not practice Friday after injuring his ankle the day before. Averett started the first three games after Marcus Peters suffered a season-ending knee injury. Top remaining Ravens CBs: Jimmy Smith, Tavon Young and Kevon Seymour (practice squad).” “Ravens injury report at Broncos OUT OT Ronnie Stanley DE Derek Wolfe QUESTIONABLE QB Lamar Jackson CB Anthony Averett S Chuck Clark S DeShon Elliott CB Marlon Humphrey LB Pernell McPhee S Geno Stone OT Alejandro Villanueva CB Tavon Young”
