I know I'm about to get killed for saying this....Get Cavanaugh back. His offense might work with Joe. He loved to run the ball and throw long for big chunks.

Joe got Cam and Mark fired, Caldwell would have gotten the axe also but detroit hire him as there coach, but you had better believe if caldwell doesn't get that job he's firedCam
Cam and Mark both got fired for the same thing, game calling. It is like week after week the same page cut and paste. And both did the same thing if something was working they went away from it. If your running all over another team you do not stop doing that. You keep doing what is working till someone stops it. Cam just failed everything often.
Caldwell only got any job due to Payton Manning

Joe not on target, caus Joe have no time..we can do all the firing we want, but if we don't have the horses on the front line, it won't mean a thing, A qb needs more then 2 seconds to execute a play.

what he said we have seen at time what this team can do but to me the bad comes from poor coaching.
We have seen special teams make some very good play with kicks blocked beside, they stink.
Week one against the Bills forgot the name or the number runs down the field on punt cover he is standing beside the guy catching the ball not in front of him beside him. He watches him catch the ball and take off down the field.
Last week #11 may have had the worse week of a special teams player I have seen. Cover punt, runs down the field standing sideways looking at the catch guy, he 11 has one foot in the endzone other in the field of play ball hits behind goes into the endzone. Later in that game he got in the way guy catching a punt flagged.

What, an usher couldn't waive off punts, pin the offense inside their own 10 yardline multiple times per game?
I'll grant you, the blocking is not always there, but a punt returner's job is to make a few players miss.... So far, all he has really done is make Ozzie swing & miss....
I understand your thinking Ozzie but how much do you know that John didn't have his hands into this. I didn't like the signing at all, should had giving the kid from navy to learn on the fly. Couldn't be any worse off then we are now. I say do it now.

Sr and the Josh will be worth the ticket but not for the play on the field. There will be a fight and if not one both will be tossed. If Sr can get Josh out of the game even if he is out himself Ravens win bigger, if not the Ravens win smaller.

Yes, 3-1, could be 4-0 or could be 0-4. I know this is a process, I am just discussing this team, Ozzie and his moves over the past five years...Thus why this team has struggled so much this year especially, despite being 3-1.

That is not saying much, there are a lot of players better than Elam and some of them are flipping burgers today.
It is too early to say if any of those three moves you mentioned work out. Wallace is likely on his last team, Watson may or may not come back from the injury, and Weddle is solid so far, but how much longer can he play at this level the way he hits?
Sure, a lot of teams mqke mistakes on players, but the reason this team has been in the dumps since the Super Bowl is because of all the bad mistakes Ozzie and his staff have made. Good teams don't stay bad for long, this could be year number 4... Draft picks should be reaching their value by now.. So far, this team's have not.... We shall see as the season unfolds.
They are 3-1, yeah should have been 4-0 but no one thought we would have won a game by now. We have a top 3 defense that is with Wright and Smith. The offense is getting there. Did you want the season over already and a fake Super Bowl in your hand?

How many of his moves, draft and free agency, have worked out the past five years? Sure, he won a super bowl, but did that cover over some of the bad moves?
Brooks was not much better than Elam, both were bad draft picks.
Brooks was a whole lot better Elam. Not sure what you were watching?
All teams make bad moves even ones that win Super Bowls.
