Robjr83 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I just think injuries are such a concern you cant just cut him. Olinemen get their legs rolled up all the time...JO got his career ended by turf toe...... It makes no sense cutting a guy who's got guaranteed money. Maybe if he REALLY pi$$es off Harbs but I don't see it. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Thank you for actually being logical. We gain nothing by cutting him. As we saw last year and have seen today with his quotes, he plays better when he is the backup or actually has competition. He is staying.Unless they have to cut a young huy they think has promise loose to keep Bryant. Quote
ForceEight Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Unless they have to cut a young huy they think has promise loose to keep Bryant.Exactly. The cost of keeping someone not in future plans doesn't always weigh heavier than the potential team benefit of keeping someone younger or more useful for the team in the long-term. I think it's safe to say that with Monroe here, someone like Billy Bajema (who we keep cutting loose) is more valuable than McKinnie at this point. Quote
